Orson sat on his bed, paper and pen in hand.
5 days left.
5 more days until he was gone.
He didn't want to get close to Astra, he never wanted to be friends with her. But he was, and now he had to live with all the pain and guilt of leaving her.
He tried to stay for her. He tried to believe her when she told him he would be okay. But no matter how hard he tried, it didn't work. Nothing worked.
He needed to go. He needed to write her a goodbye note.
He needed to apologize to her.
Orson's hands started shaking as he lowered the pen to start writing.
My bright Star.
That's the first thing he wrote, and as he started writing his goodbye note to her, the more he wrote, the more his hands started shaking.
As he got to the middle of the note, he started crying.
Why did it hurt so much?
"I'm sorry Star." Orson whispered as a few tears landed on the paper in his hands. "I'm so sorry."
After a few minutes he finished his note.
He finally finished his goodbye note to her.
