"Eli!"

Elise couldn't stop Lucian from barreling towards her with a big fat smile plastered on his face. He immediately went to scoop her off of her feet to give her a hug, whining as he did so.

"I feel like I haven't seen you in ages!"

Behind Lucian were Kieran, Alice and Serafino who was only shaking their heads disapprovingly at the second eldest's antics.

Elise looks at him before hugging him tightly as well, feeling like she haven't seen him as well in ages.

"I'm getting you dirty... " Elise mumbled, talking about the mud on her white dress getting on Lucian's fancy clothes.

Lucian shrugged happily. "I don't care. I just... " He held her protectively, his smile falling and he looked worried all of a sudden. His eyes were glassy. "I miss you so much... "

"People are staring!" Elise whined, noticing the stares from creatures of different species.

Well, everyone's staring. Hell, who wouldn't? Her family and Cleo are the models among models. The bomb in a group of bombs, the kings in a group of... Idiots.

Yes, idiots because they don't know how goofy and childish her family really is!

Lucian scoffed. "I don't care... "

Usually, Lucian would joke around about it, he would playfully smile at her. But he wasn't. He held Elise tight with a frown on his face while he surveyed his surroundings like there was going to happen if he take his eyes off of his surroundings.

"Lucian?" Elise asks, worried at the sudden  change of attitude. "Are you okay?"

"Something's wrong." Alice answered her before Lucian could.

Elise looks over the man's shoulder to look at Kieran, Alice and Serafino who wore a serious expression on their faces. Elise felt her anxiety spike up all of a sudden.

"What do you mean?" Cleo asks, his stance suddenly changing into a more guarded manner.

"Lucian said that he could feel something wrong's going to happen. He just doesn't know what it actually is." Kieran explained lightly, looking on guard.

"Whatever it is, I don't like the sound of it." Cleo mumbled under his breath, feeling worried and protective.

"Whatever it is, we don't like the sound of it." Alice corrected, crossing his arms, his long hair rustled against the soft, cold breeze of the night. Everyone, even men, we're just swooning for him. Elise could see them looking at him with eyes of lust. They look like hungry hippos who just want to have a taste of some sweet bean that's Alice. Gross.

The said man glanced at the flower that Elise was wearing and he slightly narrowed his eyes at Cleo. "My heart is thrumming in anxiety just thinking about it."

"Is that his powers?" Elise asks worriedly, giving glances at Lucian, who was still in this trance.

Serafino hummed. "I suppose. His intuition has never failed us before so I believe it."

"I do too." Kieran said before walking towards Elise. The girl hummed in confusion but she didn't question his action. The man then patted her head softly with a small smile plastered on his face.
