"When did you become buddies?"

"Since all of you threw me in a room like I'm some animal. I'm hurt, you know?"

Marielle hissed at him. "You are an animal."

Lucian grinned at her and sighed dreamily. "In bed."

Kieran gasped and covered Elise's ears. He glared at his brother.

"Lucian."

Lucian laughed at that. "What? What did I say wrong? I am!"

"There's a baby in the room." Alice grumbled, narrowing his eyes at the other blond man.

"And you are being very crass." Kieran scolded.

"And an asshole." Marielle added.

"Mari!" Kieran and Alice scolded making her raise her hands up in mock surrender.

"What I said was true! No regrets."

Lucian pouted and huffed childishly. "Kieran, Mari is being a big bad bully."

"Am not!"

"Am too!"

"Am not!"

"Liar!" Lucian stuck out his tongue childishly making Marielle fume.

Alice groaned. "Come on, you two."

"Hello? I am still in the room and Kieran would you please remove your hands from my ears?"

He followed, making Elise hum happily.

"Thank you." She commented making Kieran's expression soften.

Lucian gasped dramatically and looked at Alice in disbelief. "Did you see that?"

"See what?" Alice asked, confused.

Marielle looked dead confused.

The older one pointed at Kieran who immediately looked offended.

"His face?"

Elise looked at Kieran next with furrowed brows. "What about it?"

"His expression turned soft." Lucian said like it was a big deal. It probably was, considering how everyone, except Elise and Lucian, froze.

Elise looks back at her buddy. "Like jelly?"

Lucian nodded solemnly, a hand on his chest. "Like jelly."

The little girl brightened up immediately. "I like jelly!"

"But his face is the jelly." Lucian cringed, looking like he was about to puke while glancing at Kieran like he's poop.

Elise cringed as well. "You ruined the image jelly."

"No! The image is Kieran's face which is just like jelly but I didn't ruin the future of jelly, dollface."

Marielle looks at Kieran in a scrutinizing way and back at them. "I don't know what you mean. You're having your own language."

"Can someone translate please?" Alice questioned amusingly.

Lucian groaned. "Keep up!"

Elise looks at them. "Kieran ruined jelly!"

Kieran slapped the back of the little girl's head lightly. "Are you saying I'm ugly?"

Elise snorted, sounding oddly amused. "If you're ugly, what am I?"

"An ugly rat?" Lucian supplied with a lazy grin plastered on his face.
