Corpse's Perspective ~

"Hello, Corpse."

I smile as I see Raven on the opposite side of the doorstep, and grin even more when she bows and rolls her arms as if addressing a king or queen.

I laugh as she stands back and gestures for me to step inside, so I step into the house. The layout is the same as mine, but with all the furniture and decorations, it looks really cozy. There's an aesthetic fireplace in the living room off to the left, with a satisfyingly comfy looking sofa situated in front of it. The house just radiates good vibes and comfort.

"I'll have to come over more often." I say, "Your place is epic."

Raven smiles, "It's not much. But it's home! And your place is gonna look so cool too once I'm done with it!" She exclaims, and I feel happiness surge through me.
It's been a long time since I've had such a supportive friend, and I'm not entirely sure how to act.

She smiles at me, and for the first time I notice she's wearing my hoodie.

"Sooo...You obviously love my hoodie. Guess I'm never getting it back now." I chuckle, and she shrugs.

"Yeah, it's mine now. You've lost it for good." She grins, and then it finally seems to kick in that she has a guest.

"Do you want some tea?" She says, gesturing to the kettle on the kitchen counter to her left.

I nod, and she tells me to sit down at one of the wooden stools situated at the wooden kitchen island. I follow her commands, and sit there, fumbling with my hands awkwardly as I intently watch her boil the kettle.

"This British tea better be good, Raven. It's hyped up so much it better be mind-blowing." I joke, and I hear Raven laugh.

"Well, it's good in my opinion, but ya know– Everyone thinks differently." She replies, turning around with two mugs full of tea.

"Because you've never had it before, I just made it how I usually have it, so here you go!" She says, placing the mug on the counter in front of my hands.

"Thanks, Raven." I say, and smile at her as she sits down on the stool next to me. Accidentally, I nudge her elbow and she spills a bit of her tea over her hoodie.

She just laughs, and shrugs it off by singing in a mock deep voice, "Corpse spilled tea all on my hoo-die. Think he likes me?" And we burst out laughing.

She smiles widely and looks into my eyes and I suddenly have the urge to tuck her hair behind her ear or stroke her cheek. I refrain.

Silence.

We both awkwardly stare into each other's eyes. I get lost in her pretty y/e/c eyes and catch myself before I lean in. I smile, and cough a little.

"If Corpse likes you, he should probably tell you his real name..." I say, awkwardly.

"Woah– Corpse, you don't have to do that. Please." Raven says, rubbing my shoulder.

"No. I want to. I really want to. Please? You don't have to tell me yours if you're not comfortable." I say, insisting.

"Y/N. That's my name. Y/N Y/L/N." She says, and I widen my eyes. I didn't think she'd want to say.

"That's a gorgeous name. I love that." I say, smiling at her.

Y/N blushes aggressively, and smiles awkwardly, looking down as she fumbles with her hands in her lap.

I smile at her, and reply:

"My real name is—"
