Adrian
I didn't drive to the hospital, I had to stay behind with Carmen. I didn't need to take her to the hospital and find out her own uncle shot her mother. I didn't know what to do with myself. I sat at home, locked in my own room. I know, I have my daughter I should be with, but she doesn't know what's going on at all, just that mommy is in the hospital.

I think she thinks Alessia is having the baby, so she's confused on why we aren't there. But she adores the one maid, I forget all their names and this one body guard. I never get the same one too long to know their names.

I want to strangle somebody. Anybody. Anybody who pisses me off or hurts my family. I feel guilty for feeling slightly selfish, I kind of want to find out what Christopher was really talking about. The Alessia I know would never do anything awful. Unless she got the wrong image when there was another woman in the room.

Oh, i love her spite so much. Now I miss it. It's only been a few hours, and it's like a crave her but she could just not even come back. But I won't think like that, Alessia is one of the biggest fighters I know, she'll survive.

I fall asleep, to the everlasting saddening silence in the house currently.

I wake up, Alessia next to me, smiling as always. "Alessia? You're okay?" I ask, kissing her delicately on the lips. Alessia nods, "Of course." She smiles. She runs her tiny fingers along my hand, which is completely giant compared to hers. "You haven't gotten in any fights while I've been gone have you?" She asks, randomly. I furrow my brows at her, "What do you mean since you've been gone? You've been here this whole time."  I explain to Alessia. She grows a confused looks on her face, "No I haven't, but I need to be going again." She tells me, sadly. She starts to get up, but I follow her, grabbing her wrist, "Stay Alessia. Stay with me." I plead. Alessia jerks her wrist from me, "Everything happens for a reason Adrian." Alessia sighs. I follow her out to the hallway, until I can no longer move my feet. Alessia turns to me, then away. She faces a figure emerging from the darkness. It's face forms to be Christopher's. Christopher's? "Alessia! Run!" I yell, but it's as if she can't hear me. Finally the echo of the gunshot rings through my ears. All I can hear is Alessia's bloodcurdling screams fill the room as she falls. I quickly go to cover my ears, but it does nothing. I just cry. Cry until my tears ran dry. Finally I was able to move. I fell down to hold Alessia's limp body. I close her open eye lids and leave a kiss on her forehead. Then I suddenly begin to shake, nonstop.

I wake up to Carmen's face, a spitting image of me, but with hints of Alessia. Carmen rests her hand on my face, "Daddy. You're crying." Carmen says, looking concerned. I sit up and wipe my tears, "Yes, daddy is crying," I lift Carmen onto my lap, "But I'm okay. Okay?" I try to smile. She smiles, "Okay daddy." She hops off my lap, "There are some big policemen downstairs, they want to see you, something about mommy." Carmen explains.

"Okay, go to your room for a little bit. This is big people business okay?" I tell her, she nods, walking to her room.

I walk down the stairs, not ready for what comes next. "Are you the husband of Mrs. Alessia Casanova?" The one policeman asks, "that's me." I answer. "Sir, you're going to want to sit down. She didn't make it, neither did the baby." The policeman's voice echos in my head.

"She didn't make it, neither did the baby."
