The sounds of footsteps pacing back and forth echoed through the air. Omega attempted to move, but stopped upon feeling her whole body tense at the soreness. She brushed her hand over her eyes as she opened them to see herself in an unfamiliar place. The room was dim, nothing but a lamp in the corner of the room on an old table. The wooden walls were painted green and the inside reminded her of the style of Cut's house on Saleucami.

"I see you finally decided to wake up."

Omega was startled by the voice, assuming that she had been alone the whole time. A man in green armor came up to her, placing a plate of food on the table next to her.

"Eat. You'll need your strength." The man turned away and went into another room leaving Omega to herself again.

She sat up, taking the jogan fruit in hand. She ate in silence, scared of what had happened. Was he a bounty hunter? Had he captured her when she had passed out? Comparing the hospitality she received from Cad Bane to this man, she wasn't quite sure if she was a prisoner.

Once finished eating, Omega quietly hopped up, despite the soreness. She slowly tried to open the door to the house she was in, but found that the door was locked. From what she knew, that probably wasn't good. She reached down into her boot and pulled out a small piece of metal that Tech had made her carry for situations just like this. But before she could start working on the lock, a hand turned her around.

"What do you think you're doing?"

Omega could feel her heart racing faster than the Marauder in a nose dive. "I-I was just—" She glanced around wildly for any other way of escape. She watched in horror as the man took his blaster out.

"Wait! The Empire wants me alive!" She held her hands up, clenching her eyes shut.

"I'm not a bounty hunter or with the Empire," he said, tossing his blaster on the ground.

Omega timidly took her hands away from her face, cocking her head in confusion. "You're...not? Then who do you work for?"

The man chuckled. "I work for myself. I don't follow anyone's orders." He took a key out to the door and unlocked it. "Come on." He signaled for her to follow.

At first Omega was hesitant, but seeing as she didn't have a clue on where she was or how to get back to her brothers, she trailed after him.

The young man glanced over his shoulder. He slowed his pace to let the girl catch up. He wondered when he would have the chance to meet her and somehow the galaxy knew his desires. He did, however, hope that it was under more lively circumstances.

"What's your name?" a small voice asked from behind.

He wasn't sure whether to tell her. He wasn't sure if he was ready to tell her. He finally decided not to say anything. He couldn't get too attached. It wouldn't be long before he would have to see her off again.

"It's not important."

The girl ran up in front of him. "Of course it is! If I met someone for the first time, I would want them to call me by my name."

He couldn't help but grin from under his helmet. She sure had a fiery spirit. "Alright, why don't you tell me yours and I'll consider telling you mine."

"Okay. Deal. My name's Omega," she said proudly.

Omega. It had been a long time since he heard that name coming from her own mouth.

"Now your turn."

"Who are the ones you're traveling with?" he asked, steering her away from the large crowd of people.

"Oh, those are my friends. Well, actually they're my brothers." In a matter of seconds her mood changed. " What happened to them? Did they get captured by the Empire?" Her voice shook as she asked.

"They're fine."

"How do you know?"

The man gently grabbed her arm, leading her in the direction of the ports. He spotted the smoke from the destruction of the blast. They were back on the street where he found Omega barely able to walk. It had been roughly five hours since the attack, yet there was still the group of dark armored men at the site desperately looking for a different outcome. He had kept them waiting long enough.

He bent down taking the young clone's hand in his, dropping a piece of silver in her hand before closing her fingers around it.

"Your brothers are waiting for you."

Omega gave him a smile. "Thank you for saving me, sir."

"You best get going." He stood up, patting her on the back.

He watched as she took off running straight into the arms of the man with a red bandanna. The clone had tears running down his face as he hugged Omega tightly. The others took turns embracing the girl. The sound of sobs coming from each one of them.

He gave a soft smile from under his helmet as he walked away. Boba knew that she was in good hands.

Omega didn't care that the Marauder was gone. All she cared about was that she was back with her family. They had made contact with Cid. She wasn't too thrilled about their situation, but she managed to arrange a pick up.

Omega was curled up in Hunter's arms. He had finally fallen asleep after hours of distress. She was almost scared when she ran up to him. He was worn down and crying. At first she thought he was mad that she had gotten herself lost, but all that changed when he whispered her name in disbelief. She had never seen him cry before. She learned later on through Echo that they all thought she was dead. She had never felt so guilty in her life. Echo told her with a tear stained face that she shouldn't and that they were all just glad that she was okay.

Omega looked back up at Hunter. He seemed so peaceful which brought her a sense of peace as well. She sighed, ready for much needed sleep when she felt something in her pocket poke her. Omega carefully took out the piece of silver the man had given her. She fingered the smooth object, just then noticing that it had something engraved on it. She brought it closer to her face. It was in a language that she wasn't quite familiar with.

"Vod-'i-k-a?" she sounded out. She wondered what it meant. " Vod'ika," she said again with more confidence. Perhaps Tech knew what it translated to. She would ask him in the morning.
