"I now pronounce you, husband and wife," the priest smiled.
Mike lifted Evelyn's veil and grabbed her waist. He pulled her into a very enthusiastic kiss. The whole crowd cheered. Carter and Dean smiled at each other as they clapped for their parents. It truly was a marvellous thing.
"You are the best thing that has ever happened to me," Mike whispered so only Evelyn could hear.
"I love you so much," she told him.
