Chapter 42

Elonique's Pov

Diana stayed over for the night, we both had fun as we did truth or dare , movies, chips and ice cream basically for the night.

As I rolled over on the bed not remembering that Diana was beside me as I outstretched my hand which hit her right in her face.

She didn't seem phased by the hit as she just turned to the other side as she sprawled out.

She was as dead as a log, she didn't seem bothered by anything as she slept away.

Thank God it was just 7:06 am , I wasn't gonna be late to school.

I took a shower and brushed my teeth, then I used my mouth wash.

Afterwards, I was trying to wake up Diana so that she could get ready.

Key word try.

"Diana your gonna be late" I said huffing in annoyance as I had to drag her to edge of the bed her feet hanging off.

She groaned"Just let me sleep for  10  more minutes" she said as she nuzzled her face into the pillow as tried to get more comfortable.

She left me with no choice but to push her off the bed.

I pushed her with all my might as she landed on the ground with a thud.

"Elo what the fuck!"she said upset ,I would be too but this was for a very good cause.

" I'm sorry but knowing you , you would never get up" I said sighing feeling bad.

" What time is it"she said still slightly upset as she had her face scrunched up and her hair all over the place as  she scratched it.

"7:45 am" I replied as I combed my hair , I was already dressed for the day.

"Shit" she said as she dashed to the bathroom turning the knob in haste.

"Bloody hell!" Diana yelled as she she dealt with the cold water before setting it to a befitting temperature.

I looked for something to wear which would suit my comfort , a  oversized blue hoodie and blue high waisted jeans as I did my hair in a high puff and  did a little edges. I wore my blue Nike sneakers also as the finishing touch.

All blue perfect.

Not long after Dee came out the bathroom already dressed as she did carry her clothes along with her.

I sat on my bed as she did her hair.

5 minutes later

We're now on our way to school as we bumped to adorn by Miguel a real classic , one of my favourite songs.

As the song ended, I heard another one my favs In for it - Tory Lanez.

As the song ended we pulled up to the school Diana rolled into the parking lot securing a spot.

We took off our seatbelts  as stepped out together.

As soon as I got out I was met with stares ,some probably shocked that I came back , some sympathy ,some still of detest ,I couldn't figure out all.

I slung my bag over my shoulder as I was about to enter school before I could get the chance to I was stopped by Damien.

I sighed as I looked up at his tall frame looking into those deep alluring beautiful eyes.

So many adjectives Elonique ,calm down you missing this nigga too much , my subconscious said.

Give me a break he does have pretty eyes, whatever she replied

Back to earth ,"hey Elonique how are you", he said as bags were visible under his eyes ,his cheekbone stood out more to me today, as he licked his plump pink soft lips at the moment.

"I'm fine, I just need a little rest that's all" I said with a small smile.

"That's good to know" he said as he looked on me or more like my lips as I looked at his gaze where it went.

"Yeah bye" , I said as I was about to walk away from him before he held unto my arm.

"Look Elo, I hope we can get back together , I feel so alone without you , you complete me in all honesty, just know that whatever your decision is I will respect it , as you will always be the one I've fallen for", he said as he looked at me with hope and also sadness.

" Damien, we can't really rush whatever this is between us , let it naturally take its course, there's a whole lot of things to know about each other, how do you know that what you feel for me is love and not lust, figuring out our feelings will take time, we both have trust issues as you see so that is the next thing,if we can pull through we will know if we're meant to be together or if were better off remaining as friends" I finished sighing.

He looked sad but he respected my answer and he understood.

I went to my locker as I left him standing at the entrance as he looked at me from afar. It pained me to look at him as I turned my face away.

Miss reached class as she gave us reading to do.

I was reading until Damien came into my mind.

I asked the teacher to be excused as I went out to look for him.

I went to the first place I had in mind the old building.

I took fast strides reaching the building in no time.
