9. Lullaby

Mid of the night with a snoring taehyung in the next room.

namjoon was awake and he couldn't tell why.

he flipped himself on the bed for hours but couldn't really sleep... so he decided to just pass time with his phone...

he opened his chats and saw the most recent one being 'the love of my life <3'... shaking his head being done by his younger brother, he opened the chat and changed the name to 'flowerboi'

giggling at his choice of name, he decided to text the stranger...

and just in the fraction of a second, his phone buzzed and namjoon picked up the call, to be greeted by a deep, raspy voice...

it was strange, strangely full of passion...

"hey baby", just those two words were enough to send goosebumps all over namjoon's body..

"h-hi", namjoon meekly responded...

"so... you couldn't sleep hmm?"

"yes", namjoon couldn't stop the shivers that ran through him every time that voice greeted his ears...

"i'm gonna sing for you then... close your eyes baby and only listen to me", jin's voice instructed...

so namjoon did that... he closed his eyes and got rid of every possible thought on his mind...well except the thought of jin...

and soon a very melodious voice greeted his ears...

jin was singing... and for namjoon, it was probably the most beautiful voice he had ever heard...

and there was it, namjoon was asleep..

jin could hear the soft snores of the boy he loved... and he was happy, thinking that maybe, namjoon would give him a chance...

things had been going great so far, they were chatting and just had a talk via call too... jin was happy there was a progress and he wasn't planning to stop...

he liked it... he liked how namjoon was..

innocent, sweet, timid...

and for sure he knew, this was boy he had fallen for...

so with a soft smile, he trudged to his bedroom...
