˚ · • . ° .I park the car in its usual spot on the driveway. Chrissy quickly gets out of the car, walking up to my front door.
"Woah woah woah," I hold out my arm in front of her, "you can't go in there." I say.
"What? Why not?" she furrows her brows.
"I didn't tell my mom I was having friends over, sorry." I explain. She mouths an 'Oh' and nods.
"I'm gonna go get some Tylenol for my head, and pack a bag real quick," I tell her as I reach for the door handle.
"Okay, I'll wait in the car!" the blonde suggests.
"Actually, he lives in the trailer park, which is like a block away." I tell her. Her face tells me she doesn't understand. "It's walking distance. We're gonna walk there, just to be, you know, safer." I explain.
"Right!" she says, remembering that we shouldn't be seen near Eddie Munsons house, or others will definitely get suspicious.

Once I finish gathering a couple of things up in my bag, including Tylenol, water, a jacket, and some cash, I open my front door, exiting my house.
Chrissy is sitting against the car, staring off.
"Okay Chris, you ready?" I ask her, swinging the bag over my shoulder.
No response.
"Chrissy?" I squat down in front of her.
Silence.
I wave my hand in front of her face, snapping a couple of times.
She suddenly gasps, her hands flying to her heart, cradling it.
"You...okay?" I question after witnessing what just happened.
She catches her breath before speaking, "Yeah, yeah I'm fine."
I know it was a vision she was having. I've seen it happen before, but it wasn't as intense as this one was. I immediately feel bad for her whenever she wakes up out of the trance, looking scared shitless.
I stand up, and reach my hand down to her, offering it. She takes it and pulls herself up. I pat her shoulder, trying my hardest to comfort her.

"I told my mom I was going to Family Video, and that I would be home by 10:00 PM." I explain.
Chrissy nods, "I didn't tell my parents that I had any plans after school," the blonde says, "they probably wouldn't notice anyway."
The sun is setting by now, and we're about three minutes away from the address. As we're walking down the road, I start to feel a breeze pass by, causing the hair on my body to stand up.
"Are you cold?" I ask Chrissy, wondering if the feeling is mutual.
"No, not really." she shrugs.
I notice that she has her cheerleader jacket on, of course she wouldn't be cold.
"Hold on," I stop her, putting my forefinger up. She stops in her tracks.
I take out my jacket I brought with me in my bag. It's navy blue and covers me all the way to my mid-thigh. I roll up the sleeves, so my hands aren't being swallowed by the fabric.
Chrissy waits for me until I have it on. Except, whenever I pick up my bag, I stand up from my squat, immediately tripping over something.
I fall forward, my hands breaking my fall before my nose touches the grass below me. I feel my knee scrape sharply against some rocks.
