Reality Check

Vegas POV 

I wake up to the chirping sound of Birds. I sit up on the bed and take my phone to see the time, It is 7 am in the Morning. It's been weeks since I woke up this late. The new Projects had kept me up all nights and waking up early everyday. Finally a break for sometime. I look out the window, the sun is shining brightly and I am reminded of Build. 

He didn't come to wake me up like usual at 5. Is he still sleeping? Well he deserves rest too. I guess I owe this somewhat to Build. He helped me a lot during the last week. He is new to the Job yet helped me without complaining. His attitude towards work is so unlike my previous assistants. If Only He wasn't on The Main Family's side then I could have completely Trust him to be one of our Own. 

I am about to get up from my bed to get a good run in the garden when suddenly I hear soft knocks on my door and Pete enters, Looking as bright as ever as he gives me his smile and puts a tray of breakfast in Front of me. I look at him questioningly.

"You had been skipping Breakfast lately, Now that the Project deal is done, You should look after your health too. Eat some good food. I have cleared your schedule for Today. Macau said he wanted to go see a movie with you." He informs me.

'Who asked you to alter my schedules?' I wanted to ask but instead....

"Hmm...Okay...You coming to the Movie with us too?" He keeps quiet as if he was surprised by that question and thinking about something. I immediately clarify "Macau likes you......... so I..... I thought he would be happy If you come. I don't want you to accompany us but If it's for Macau I am fine with it." I say.

He nods happily. I take the first bite of the breakfast and "Umm...This is delicious. Did the Head Chef recruit a new talent?" I ask as I continue stuffing my mouth with food. This has to be the best Breakfast I have had in months.

"Actually...I made it myself... It's my Mom's secret recipe." He admits shyly. I look at him. If it would have been someone else I wouldn't have acknowledged but "It's tasty." 

"Your mom must be a good cook. I would like to try her food sometime." I say but am met with silence. Build's eyes become a bit sad as he hurriedly tries to mask it with a smile, a fake smile.

"I am glad you like it Wegath. I have to go get ready and come to pick you up." He says as he rushes to the door and escapes.

"Today will be Fun" I think.

Pete's POV 

"Your mom must be a good cook. I would like to try her food sometime."

When Vegas said this it made me remember my mom. How is she? Is she fine? She was the only person in my world who truly cared for me. Does she know that I drowned? And if yes then what happened to my real body? 

All this thoughts are running through my mind. How can I be so careless? This is after all Just a Fantasy, nothing more. Just a World inside a Novel.  

A world that I have to leave someday and return. Back to the world where no Wegath exists.

ELSEWHERE...
"This is the photo. Make sure you get me the guy in the photo as soon as possible. I don't care what methods you have to use. Just make sure you bring him to me." He says as he puts the picture on the table.

"Yes. Khun Tawan." The men in black leaves.
