"Who's that?" hindi ko napigilang itanong kay Cielle nang makita ang babaeng lumabas ng opisina kasama ni Sir Keeno.

Cielle sighed. "That's his girlfriend." She faked a smile. "Pinsan ko."

"Oh!" Nagkorteng bilog ang aking bibig. "So you hooked them up?"

"Not really. They met during Sir Klinn's secret wedding."

Napakurap ako sa narinig. "May asawa na si Klinn Ducani?!"

Tinakpan niya ang aking bibig. In fairness, amoy mamahalin pati ang palad! Magkano kaya ang ipinapasahod ni Sir Keeno rito? Kahit medyo nakakaramdam ako ng selos kapag masyado silang close ni Kanor, I still can't find the reason to hate her.

"Huwag kang maingay. Secret wedding nga, eh."

I sighed. "May iko-cross out na pala akong pangalan sa listahan ko." I scratched my temple. "Sayang."

She smirked. "Is it true that you wanna marry a Ducani?"

"Sino bang hindi? Kahit sino basta Ducani, ready'ng ready ang CENOMAR ko pati barangay clearance at NBI clearance."

"Well, you're getting comfortable with my boss. Bakit parang hindi mo naman siya tipo?"

I pouted and think about it. "Oo nga, ano? Probably because Keeno Ducani is a silent but dominant man. Although Kreige and Klinn Ducani have the most dangerous profession among them, feeling ko nakakatakot magalit 'yang boss mo, Cielle. Ayaw ko sa ganyan."

She laughed and shake her head. "Sinabi mo pa. He's a strict boss, despite being understanding. Si Sir Klinn, he's patient and can make you confess things you are not willing to share to others. Plus, he's a keen observer. Si Sir Keeno, he's different. He can shake your ground and make you question your own beliefs. "Is it Khalila?"

"Nope. She's the sum of all of her brothers, but she's very transparent. The first-born Ducani is, according to Sir Khalil, remains the most dangerous among his kids."

Napapalakpak ako nang wala sa sarili. "Wow. Parang ang hirap maging asawa ng gano'n. Siguro tatandang single 'yon, kasi kahit ako na pangarap makapangasawa ng Ducani, baka sukuan ko 'yon. Baka mamaya habang nagsi-sex kami, puro lang inflation at business tactics ang sabihin."

Siya naman ang napakunot ng noo. "Paano naman 'yon?"

I shut my eyes. "Ah! Ah! Tell me the current inflation rate in Europe and how it will affect the global market, babe! Oh kaya... oh, yes yes! Give me my ROI after nine months as I invest my liquid asset in your vagaygay bank! Gano'n!"
