Y/n's Pov

I was new in town and so far I am loving the island. Not only that I've been learning alot like there were 2 sides. The Kooks and the Pouges, which I'm guessing since my family has quite alot of money I'm a Kook. But today is more of a roaming the island kind of day. Or more like trying out the Country Club because I've heard some pretty great things about it.

I was sitting alone at a stool looking around and watching everyone interact with each other. It was weird seeing so many people talking and having a nice time. " I'm guessing you're new here?" Someone asked. I looked at the boy to see that he was pretty good to look at. " Um yeah I just moved here." I smiled.

" How are you enjoying it alot. So far everyone seems pretty nice." I say to him. " Well my name is Rafe Cameron." He sticks out his hand. " I've heard some people whisper about you." I say shaking his hand. " All good things I hope." He smirks. " Yeah some good things but some people have said some pretty shitty things as well." I explained.

" Let me guess. A group of Pouges?" He asked. " I think one of their names were John B or something like that." I said looking around. " Of course it was. But whatever he said it wasn't true." He explains. " Well either way I don't really judge anyone until I've gotten to know them myself." I mentioned.

" Well maybe we can get to know each other by you letting me be your personal tour guide." He told me. " I would like that. I don't wanna get lost." I smiled a little. " Well great where would you like to see first?" He asked. " I don't know, where do you think is the best place in the Outer Banks is?" I asked.

He sat there for a moment before he spoke. " The beach is pretty nice. Are you up for some swimming?" He asked. " I'm always up for a good swim." I said getting up from my seat. " I'll message my friends so you can meet more people." He Rafe offers. " As long as they Arn't snobs." I mentioned. " They Arn't. Topper is dating my sister and Kelce is pretty cool too." He explains.

" You have a sister?" I asked. " Yeah I have 2. Wheezie and Sarah." He mentioned. " Are you sure she's with Topper?" I asked. " Yeah why do you ask?" He asked. " Because I'm pretty sure I saw her and John B getting pretty close." I mentioned. " Are you sure it was Sarah?" He asked. " Well she was blond and I remember hearing John B calling her Sarah." I explained. " You're new and you're already on top of things." He smirked.

We had made it to the beach to see 3 people coming up to us. Sarah, Topper who had his arm around Sarah and Kelce. Sarah looked at me up and down before she remembered who I was. " Hey you're the new girl." She smiled. " And you're the girl who was hanging out with John B." I said back. " You were with the John B kid?" Topper asked.

" He wanted a map of the island." She explained. " If you say so." I said looking around. " Do you know something?" Topper asked. " I don't know anything. Right Sarah?" I asked with a smile. " Yeah, now I see why my brother likes you." Sarah Stated. " He doesn't know me so he can't like me if I just moved here." I explained.

" You guys just met and you guys are already arguing." Kelce spoken up. " I just don't like liars that's all." I said to Kelce. " What am I lying about?" Sarah asked. " That you and John B clearly have chemistry. I sounder what happened between you guys." I say to her. " You're pretty nosey for a new girl." Sarah stated. " No, I just notice things." I said to her.

" Okay let's just hang out. You guys do whatever while I tell Y/n about the Outer Banks." Rafe said as he pulled me away from the group. " You're the only person who's ever said anything to her." Rafe smirked. " Well I ment it I don't like liars and cheaters." I say to him. " Than we are going to be really good friends." Rafe tells me.

" Why don't I believe you?" I asked. " Because you're hot so don't expect to much from me." He joked. " Well I hope you do make a move later on cause you're not to bad yourself." I tell him. " So how are you liking it here?" Rafe asked. " I'm pretty sure the others don't like me." I mention as I look back at them.

" Well Sarah definitely doesn't like you but that doesn't matter. But if you're telling the truth than Topper and Kelce will appreciate that you were willing to be honest to Topper even though you barely know him." Rafe rubs my back. " I hope so, no one deserves to be cheated on." I smile.

" The beach is beautiful as well." I added as I looked around. " It's one of my favorite places in the Outer Banks." Rafe smiled. " Than this can be our spot." I tell him. " I like the sound to that." Rafe tells me. We walked in silence for a moment before Kelce ran up to us. " So I don't think I ever got your name." Kelce spoke. " It's Y/n." I tell him. " Did you really mean what you said back there?" Kelce asked.

" I have no reason to lie to any of you guys. I just want you guys to trust me." I explained. " I trust you, I just dont think Topper does because of Sarah." Kelce explained. " Well I hope he realizes that there's something going on." I mentioned. " He will don't worry, when he does he will realize that you mean well." Kelce smiled. " What do you guys do around here?" I asked.

" Well we are either partying, at the Country Club or somewhere around the island." Rafe mentioned. " You guys sound boring." I smirked. " Sometimes we mess with the Pouges too." Kelce added. " Well I won't be helping with that." I tell them. " Why not?" Rafe asked. " Because being mean for no reason isn't my thing." I explained.

" Well luckly you have us to do that for you." Rafe says wrapping his arm around me. " So whats the plan for tonight?" I asked. " Rafe is throwing a party tonight if your up for it." Kelce mentioned. " It can be a welcome party for you." Rafe added onto it. " A party just for me?" I asked with a smile. " I'm guessing your in?" Kelce asked. " You know I'm in." I tell him. " I like you already." Kelce tells me.
