My Apple, My Love

How did we lose sight, of the love we used To share,

Joining as one by every night, and living Without a care.

Come summer the flower will bloom, your Petals a jewel to my eyes,

But winter will come and with it the doom, Leaving the flower to die.

What I would give to freeze the stars, and Claim the night as my own,

But alas the day has come too soon, Leaving me all alone.

But the sun is left in wonder and war, with You to match its grace,

And from the heavens the moon is torn, With you to take its place.

If my love is the apple that hangs from the Tree, then to your lips may its juices flow,

With just one bite your soul is set free, With no limit to where your spirit may go.

Night has now come and with it my love, The stars a blanket for our bed,

And the constellations they form your Face up above, and your name forever in My head.
