Hero

Two mighty men have come out to fight,

Bringing their armies to die in the night.

Armed with their swords, and hearts full of rage,

Many too young, and not yet of age.

The cause of this war has never been clear,

But the general has ordered to fight without fear.

He rallied the men and gave them a speech,

Those are the walls I want you to breach.

You are the finest, and you are the best,

Think of your enemy as no more than a pest.

If you should fall, a hero you will be,

All that I ask is that you should die got me.

His army agreed and promised to fight,

Know that death could come by the night.

With each rising sun we give you our praise,

And bury our dead with each passing day.

We are the damned, and we are the proud,

Hear our war as we sing it out loud.
