Truth is but Deceit in Disguise

Now you want someone to impress you,

but my efforts are shown the door.

And the thought of us just being friends,

is a thought I can stand no more.

No other man out there,

can love you as I do.

Yet you laugh and turn away,

believing this can't be true.

How can you say we will not work,

if you are too afraid to try.

Without you to call my own,

I would rather prefer to die.

But hope is not lost,

for I can see the question in your eyes.

Now even you cannot deny,

that these words cannot be lies.
