Summer Clouds

Silver meadows of freshly fallen tears

Where menacing skies linger above.

Their thunder drums like the beating

Of the heart

And the flashes of fear light the dark.

Such are the days of my summer

Where the rain has defeated the sun.

And the roses will not bloom

When there is no love to feed their

Roots.
