Holy Father

Holy father are you there? I pray you hear

My plea,

See how I've reached the end of the rope, I

Beseech you on my knees.

Far too often have I cried, and had my

Prayer unheard,

Holy father are you there? Grant me with

Your word.

Holy father why so quiet? Do you not feel

My pain?

My heart has run as dry as sand, will you

Not grant me rain?

Many will say you are not real, I tell them

They are blind,

How can they say you don't exist, when I

Feel you in my mind.

Holy father in my heart, never shall I

Pray again,

Too many prayers have left these lips,

None have reached your heaven.

Holy father this is it, my death has

Finally come,

You could have saved me if you wished,

I guess that I was wrong
