(A quick disclaimer: I'm rlly sorry if my German translations are shitty, I study German but have zero actual knowledge about it so if Google translate isn't right, I apologise already.😭😭)

Shit. My mission to silently sneak out, go for a quick run and then come back was starting miserably. I didn't have a good feeling about this, but I had a bad habit of never giving up what I had started.

My eyes spot mr. Perry just seconds before he sees me, in the lounge talking to some staff. My breath hitches from the suspense, I had never ever done anything like this against the rules. I'd be dead if mom found out.

Quickly hiding myself behind a wall, mr. Perry doesn't spot me, and he keeps on blabbering to the staff.

Ten minutes pass by and I get more anxious and irritated every minute passing by when mr. Perry just doesn't know how to end a conversation. He laughs theatrically and tries to mutter something in German, but failing so miserably that it hurts my soul.

When the staff finally wish my teacher a good night, he gets the hint and walks away. But to my misfortune he takes the path going right by my hiding spot.

My heart begins to race, and I'm praying that he doesn't look to his left.

A relieved sigh leaves my mouth as my teacher isn't even giving a glance at my way, he calmly walks away, leaving me with a smile.

The rest is easy, I just literally walk out of the hotel nobody really paying me attention. Other tourists mind their business and the hotel staff are busy doing their job, so I can easily blend in.

When I get out of the hotel, I plug my earphones in my ears and begin to run straight away. I had limited time, plus it was pitch black, plus this was a complete different country and weird place so it wasn't really safe. Whatever, what could happen anyway?

My feet begin to shake after twenty minutes into the run but that doesn't slow me up. The busy main street had changed into a lonely dirt street, surrounded by trees and snow. There wasn't many people anymore, no wonder since the clock was already almost ten thirty. It was beautiful here, and calm.

I keep going, sweat prickling in my forehead. I didn't really mind since that just meant that I lost a good amount of weight.

The usual blurry feeling catches me a bit, and my vision blurs for a while. It's just a while, but enough for me to lose the track of my feet and disnavigate a pit in the road.

A yelp escapes from my mouth when I lose control of my legs, smashing into the ground. My hands get a hold of the ground just before my face gets smashed.

"Awhh." I cry out in pain and roll onto my back, my ankle felt like a fire had started to make a performance in it.

"Auweh!" An elderly woman rushes towards me, sounding worried.

"Huh?" I ask.

"Geht es dir gut?" The same woman asks me but I have zero clue what she is talking about.

"Do you speak English?" I ask, pain making my voice high-pitching.

"No English." She mutters, and shakes her head.

I weight my options, the first thing that came to mind was to call mr. Perry or Fox. Neither sounded good, Fox would be disappointed and upset, and mr. Perry would probably skin me alive. I wanted no one to know, but my ankle felt like it was catching fire.
