It's been three days since Josh told me to hate him.

I couldn't.

I've been ignoring Caspar and today mum, dad and Aleena came home.

"So how's your days of freedom been sweetie?" My mum asked sitting next to me on the sofa,

"Alright, thanks." I sighed,

"Is everything ok?" She placed a hand on my shoulder,

"Yeah. I'll talk to you later." I got up and walked into my room, locking the door behind me.

I just want to be alone.

My phone began vibrating, indicating a call.

Caspar's name flashed on my screen.

"Hey." I answered,

"Where are you these days?" He asked,

"I've just been busy..." I sighed,

"Well meet me in the park. We need to talk." He drifted off,

"Ok. I'll be there in a few." I hung up and flung my phone behind me.

Getting up, I got changed and made myself look a little better than I did before.

I wasn't gonna put in loads of effort. I'd lost a friend...

Once I'd got to the park, I sat on my favourite bench.

Why am I being like this with Caspar?

He's amazing to me and I'm just being a horrible girlfriend.

"Hey youuu." Caspar smiled, sitting next to me on the bench,

"I missed you." I hugged him tight and he hugged me back,

"Well you've been ignoring me... Whats wrong?" He asked, tilting my head up so I was looking at him,

"I... Its just... Josh and I were meant to go for a coffee after school a few days ago but then I ended up forgetting and I went out with you..." I explained everything to him so that he knew every single detail.

"He probably just needs time. Just try and leave him alone and watch, he'll ping back like an elastic band." He chuckled kissing my cheek,

"You know you're probably right... So how's things?" I asked,

"They've been good. I have something to tell you though..." He drifted off,

"Its a good thing though, right? You're not breaking up with me are you?" I panicked,

"Nooo! Haha no gorgeous. I still want you." He laughed,

"Oh... Good. So what's up?" I asked,

"Well... I'm kinda leaving for South Africa tomorrow... And staying for a month or two..." He looked at my face, searching for some sort of reaction.

I couldn't say anything.

I couldn't do anything.

"Sam?" He asked, waving his hand in front of my face.

Why was I so bothered? You ask?

He's going to visit his family.

He has a right and you cant stop him.

"I... I... Um..." I stuttered but nothing I was wanting to say was escaping my mouth,

"I didn't want to leave you. Its just, its Theo's birthday on Monday and I wanted to be there." He sighed,

"I don't have to go if you don't want me to." He held my hand in his,

"No, no, no. Don't let me stop you, you can't miss Theo's birthday! She's your sister. Go. Its fine." I smiled,

"Are you sure?" He asked,

"I'm positive." I leant on his shoulder and sighed,

"I'll be back as quick as I can." He kissed the top of my head.

"And call and text every night." He wrapped his arm around my waist,

"You better." I smirked,

"I promise I will." He chuckled.

We'd stayed like that just talking and filling in for the days that we'd missed and will miss out on.

When it started going dark, we decided to go home.

Caspar dropped me off at mine and we'd decided on meeting up early tomorrow so I could say one last goodbye to him before he left for South Africa.

I was just hoping once Caspar's gone, I could try and convince Josh to let me back into his life.

I'm sure if Zain found out about this, he wouldnt be very happy.
