Dear Nobody,

They're about to release me from the hospital which is a major relief. I feel a lot better than I did two days ago when I woke up. My head and neck are still sore but it's nothing that I can't handle, it just feels like I slept on it wrong. My arm is itchy under the cast but that's probably not something that's going to go away anytime soon. I have a contusion on my leg which is just doctor speak for a really bad bruise. It hurts when I walk on it but they wrapped it in some bandage and my limp is almost unnoticeable.

I feel like I'm falling apart but to be honest, I've been falling apart for a really long time now. But with all of these bandages holding me together, maybe I'll finally be able to make myself whole again. It might be the pain medicine that they have me on here but I'm feeling rather optimistic right now.

I'm dressed and ready to go now with clothes that Cece had brought from my house but none of my friends are here at the hospital anymore. Jules is the only one with a vehicle but he has to work right now which means that I would have had to take the bus but luckily, Danni's brother is still in town helping her out while she gets better and he volunteered to come pick me up. He's going to take me to Danni's dorm so that I can see her since we haven't seen each other since the car crash and I need to make sure that she's okay with my own eyes.

The nurse is coming so I'm going to go now.

Just as I'm closing my notebook and putting it in my bag, the nurse walks into the room with a beaming smile on her face. "Ready to go, Luna?" I just nod. "How's your leg feeling? We can get you a wheelchair to get you to your vehicle."

I stand up from the edge of the bed and realize that a wheelchair would be nice, I may have underestimated the pain in my leg. "Yeah that'd be great," I say politely. She nods and then pulls a wheelchair into the room. With my bag, I sit down in the wheelchair and she wheels me out of the room.

In the waiting room, I see the slightly familiar guy that I'd met at Danni's New Year's party just a few weeks ago. Quinn.

"Hey," He greets me with a charming smile.

"Hi," I sigh, obviously not really loving the idea of being picked up by this guy who I already feel like doesn't like me. I probably made a pretty terrible impression on him at the party so I'm assuming that he's only here because Danni asked him to pick me up, it's not really a favor for me.

"You signed all of your paperwork so let me just go grab your prescription an then you're good to go," The nurse tells me with a polite smile before taking off behind the counter to wherever it is that she needs to go to get my drugs.

"So how are you feeling?" Quinn steps closer to me, chewing on his bottom lip which, I notice, is something that Danni does too. I can really tell that they're related just by looking at him.

"Like I got hit by a car," I respond dryly. "How's Danni?"

"She's doing a lot better now and she's really excited to see you," He assures me.

"Ditto. And thanks for being my ride, I really didn't want to have to worry about taking the bus," I say because I have manners, I guess. I mean, I don't really have manners but I could have them, you know? Alright, I have no idea what I'm saying right now. Maybe I'm still a bit hazy on the pills.

"Oh, it's no problem," Quinn says. "It's always a pleasure."

"Right," I snort sarcastically. "I make great company."
