I start off by sending them in the wrong direction and splitting them apart. I do this by setting off false alarms in different areas. It may seem like random, but to me, I have a purpose. I need the boss, my dad, to see the secret message I'm sending. The alarms that I sound are the numbers 10, 66, 43, and 96. 1066 is officer in need of assistance and 4396, my badge number. I feel bad asking them to save me and help me because all of this is somewhat I feel, my fault. I also know I could not have stopped any of this.

*at metro evidence depot*

"Boss we are being taken around in circles and it's like we're chasing ghosts." Leah sighs. "Alright. Meet up with Ed and Alpha team. They are converging on the evidence area now." The boss says looking around the room and then to the lights flashing on the alarm panel. "Spike. 10 and 66. 1066. Officer in need of assistance." The boss says realizing it. "And 43, 96. That's Taylor's badge number." Spike states looking over at the lights. "We need to find our girl. Spike see what you can do. Whatever's going on. I think Taylor is in on it. She could have gotten kidnapped." The boss says going slightly pale and grabbing onto the table harder.

15 minutes later Spike finds the information. "Alright so this guy named David. He was stuck in this prison in Mexico for this huge drug deal. There's a thing of heroine that's suppose to be destroyed today at the end of the shift here at the evidence depot. He had a girlfriend, Katrina. Taylor says she has a friend Katrina that had some problems a year ago. The guy apparently tried to smuggle heroine into her carry on bag without her knowing and that's what got him caught. Katrina testified against him." Spike explains. "Katrina. Taylor told me all about that. She helped her out when it happened. Got her out of the situation. Pulled a lot of strings to get Katrina out of that relationship with the guy." The boss says. He slams his hand on the table. "Spike-" he starts. "Already ahead of you boss. Address is 4902  Adelaide Ave. It is near some of the old buildings on the west side of town. I can go with you." Spike states grabbing is gloves and getting up. The boss nods and heads off to the SUV with Spike. "We are near the room boss. Going to breach it." Ed states. "Copy that Eddie. Be careful." The boss says.

"What are you doing?" I ask suddenly worried as I hear about the plan to put C4 near the entrance of where the team is going to come in at. "They are going to find my guys if we don't get rid of them." David states to me. "Blowing them up will do you no good David. Or for your guys on the inside. You're talking about killing most of a team of SRU officers!" I yell at him. David thinks about hitting me with the gun, but just growls at me angrily and goes to talk to his guys via the com again. "You can't do this David. Please." I whisper. "David just tell them to call it off." His friend says. David shoots the guy and I see a puddle of blood start to form on the floor where the guys head is. I turn away and look at the screen. I can hear Katrina whimper and cry more. I see the dots that represent the team on my screen go into the room, and then, the dots disappear. The team. My friends. My family. I don't know which 4 of them have just died. But it doesn't matter. I just stare at the screen knowing there is no reason to go on. "You need to get them out of the rest of the building." David says walking over. "No." I say softly. "What do you mean no?" David asks angrily. "No. It's over. Kill me already. You killed 4 SRU officers today. Why not make it a 5th?" I say with a blank, somewhat sad expression on my face. My friend Katrina is crying from her chair still and I feel sorry for her. That's when David stares at the screen as 4 little dots blink back to life. I turn and look at what he is looking at. The team is alive. They are alive!

To make it even better, my dad, the boss comes bursting in with his gun aimed, ready to defend himself. "SRU." I states. "Hey deadshot. You alright?" He asks seeing me, still pointing the gun at David and his friend. "Some handcuff keys would be nice boss." I say looking over at him. He tosses them to me and I uncuff myself, but there's still another restraint around my body, near my arms. I stand up and kick the chair away. My dad is starting to negotiate, but I stop him. "Look. I don't care what 3rd world jungle you hide out in. I will find you. And I will make sure you die. You don't hurt my family and friends. Ever." I growl out. David looks extremely angry now and points the gun right at my chest. "What are you going to do? Shoot me?! Go ahead. Shoot me." I yell. At that moment, as David goes to fire his gun, Spike bursts through the window and tackles David as I step back. "Man I love explosive entries. Especially when they involve ropes." He says smiling up at me. I smile back. I help Katrina get out of her restraints and Spike cuts mine off as well. Katrina just cries and hugs me as we head outside of the house.

Later when we have solved the whole situation, I come in as the team are sitting around in the meeting room at the table. Silence is heard, until they see me. Jules gets up and hugs me. My father, Spike and I, all sit down. "Guys, I just want to say...I'm sorry. I made some choices today and I pulled you into trouble." I say looking down at the table. "Yeah, but you didn't choose that trouble." Leah says. "I didn't know what else to do and I turned to you guys." I state. "Someone needed you Taylor and you helped them." Jules points out. "Where's the part where you made the wrong choice?" Sam asks looking over at me. "I know this sounds crazy....but I think of my parents....and today I almost loose you guys. And I start thinking...anybody that gets close to me-" I ramble. "Taylor. Without you around..." The boss starts. "We'd fall apart." Ed says finishing the sentence and looking at me with a sincere look in his eyes. "You hear me?" Ed asks putting a hand on my shoulder. I nod. These are my friends. My family....and I am so happy to have them.
