The room was cold, the ropes were too tight around his wrist and his sight was obscured by the thick black cloth wrapped around it. Niall could just feel dread seeping in as he struggled against the confinement, getting bored pretty quickly when nothing out of the ordinary happened. He had seen enough movies to know that there was no escaping the situation. All his efforts were doomed to be futile.

Sighing to himself, the blonde slumped back against the harsh cement floor, lying on his back even though it was painful. He couldn't bring himself to stand up or sit still. It was such an uncomfortable floor, that even reeked a little of piss and shit but he chose to ignore that - glad about the blindfold surrounding his eyes.

Alone in the darkness, he finally thought of everything that had happened since the trip. First, he had lost four important people. Secondly, he had slept with his kidnapper. Third, he had been lied to by his own parents. Fourth, he had discovered the said kidnapper was out to get him for something that he was still significantly unaware about. Fifth, his best friend had handed him down to the kidnapper like he was a rag doll, easy to be thrown away. Sixth, he was in unfamiliar surroundings, alone with his just thoughts to make him feel like shit. God certainly didn't like him.

"Hello?" Niall called out into the empty room, just wanting to use his voice a little. Thankfully, Justin had been merciful enough to  let his mouth go. It was restricted which meant that he was allowed to scream and beg for help but judging by the size of the car he had been dragged inside, there was no way that these people keeping him hostage didn't own big guns or even grenades. Niall might be foolish but he really wasn't willing to give his life up so quickly.

"Seems like you are up." The gruff male voice spoke after long minutes. It sounded familiar but it sounded tired and strained, making the blonde frown before placing a face to the voice.

"Liam! Why are you here?" Niall shivered, not even wanting to think about the reason behind Harry and now, Liam's betrayal. He just hoped that Zayn and Louis would save him, but even that seemed doubtful now. Liam was never the leader, it was always either Louis or Zayn ordering him about and now that he was here, in the room with him, his presence strong and dangerous, made Niall realize the possibility of Zayn and Louis being in on this as well. Was this their plan from the beginning? To let him know the truth and then hand him down so easily? As if he didn't matter? As if he hadn't lost their virginity to them? As if they had never told him the three magical words before letting go with a deep kiss filled with the promise of a bright future?

"The boss is dying to meet you. Get up now," Liam mumbled, lifting the blonde up by the upper arm before turning his around gently, untying the knot at the back of his head, keeping the blind fold in place. He quickly tucked the cloth inside his jeans pocket, not removing the confining ropes around his hands, holding them together, and continued to drag the blonde away, pushing and shoving his body every now and then.

"Easy Liam." Niall chided, biting his lips to hold the sarcasm down but he just couldn't bring himself to. The entire situation was getting on his nerves and now with his sight back, he could see just how roughened up Liam looked. There was a big gash on his lips, his eyebrow was bleeding and his left cheek was bruised. "So I'm guessing you got tortured too?"

"I didn't get tortured. I got into a fist fight." Liam scoffed, frowning before a smirk took place on his lips. "Worried, aren't we?"

"In your dreams Payne." Niall retorted easily, keeping his feet moving and then taking a sharp turn when Liam motioned in the other direction. There was an expression of unease on the brunette's face but it disappeared quickly, leaving Niall wondering about what could have even landed Liam in just a messed up position. The man was too careful and he did things in such a calculated manner that Niall was certain there were hardly any errors made.
