~ Saturday Morning

Promise P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of Diamond's snoring and my phone buzzing. I looked at my clock and it was 7:25. I reached over to my phone and it was a text from Jaquan telling me and Diamond to get ready so we could go pick him up. Then I looked over at Diamond, this girl knocked the fuck out.

I stood up and grabbed a pillow and smacked her with it. She just laid there and smiled in her sleep. And I just looked at her with a raised her eyebrow then I smacked her harder with the pillow then she woke up ''Man what the fuck ?" she said while stretching and her eyes partially closed. I was just busting out laughing, this girl look hella funny when she just wakes up. "Wake up girl !" I said "Ugh" she said waking up.

Afterwards we took a shower and got ready. I threw on a white and red baseball shirt, shorts, and red and white Nike's. I did my hair in a bun , grabbed my brown bag and my car keys. I turned around and saw Diamond already dressed, surprisingly. She's always the last one to be ready. But my girl looking fye. She had on a Miami Heat red and black cropped top, high waist shorts, and fire red 4's and her hair was in a bun. "You ready to go ?" I asked her "Yesuhh, you look good shawty" she said grabbing her phone and purse. "You too boo" I said laughing and she high fived me. "Yes boooo you looking good todaaaaaay" Trey said coming into my room and Diamond started blushing like hell and I was cracking up. "Trey you dumb" I said giggling "Yo dad told me to drive you there , and pick you up on Sunday" he said "Why ?" I asked "Because he said he don't trust those hoodlums around the Ferrari" he said "I'll take the Toyota then, cause I need a car to take us places" I said and he nodded and went downstairs. "Damn Promise you should've let him , I don't mind pulling up at the hotel with a fine ass driver" she said making me laugh "Girl you cray" I said making her giggle and we went downstairs.

"Alright dad were leaving'' I said going up to him and kissing him on the cheek. "Alright princess, you guys be careful now'' he said. "Yall come back now, you hear?'' Trey said mocking that guy from Hannah Montana and me and Diamond busted out laughing ''Bye Trey'' I said hugging him ''Bye sis, be careful, and if I hear a guy all up on you, imma come down there and beat his ass cause I know what goes down at these little Senior get together's I was a senior too'' he making me chuckle ''Alright T , I'll be aware'' I said then he hugged Diamond. This girl must be happy bitch right now.

We went into the car and drove to Jaquan's house to pick him up. Jaquan was looking too cute. He had on a black and red polo shirt, jeans, and bred 11's. We planned the whole black and red thing. After picking up Jaquan we went to a pizza store to eat first before we went to the hotel.

"This shit better be fye , or imma turn my ass back around'' I said while we were eating.''That'll be a nice view'' Jaquan said winking and I rolled my eyes. "Shut up Q , anyways Promise , this shit is funna be turnt up as hell, trust me on that, didn't Trey ever told anything about what goes down at these get together's ?'' Diamond asked and I shook my head ''Nah, he just told me to expect the unexpected, shit is funna go down'' I said and Jaquan laughed ''Girl it's non that serious, people just act crazy as hell, Trey's just saying that to scare you so you won't go'' he said and I sighed ''Trey is a little fucker'' I said making them laugh.

After we ate , we pulled up at the hotel. It was hella packed , I aint know their was this much Seniors at the school. I parked at the front of the hotel and we grabbed our bags from the trunk and went in. I looked at my phone and it was now 8:45. Everyone was probably in breakfast right now so we went into the iHop that's inside.

When we reached there it was full of black children and the line was long as fuck ''Thank god we ate already'' I said to myself but Diamond heard me ''Hell yeah'' she said. We sat on one of the tables with a whole bunch of Jaquan's friends , they were our friends too though. "Wassup Q'' Jaquan's homeboy said to him ''Wassup man'' he said dapping him and sitting down. "Wassup my niggggaaasss ??!!" they said to us and we hugged them , we cool as hell with all of them. They don't mind that were girls though , they could talk about everything in front of us , well not everything.

After a few minutes, Ke'Shawn and this other boy he's always with came up to out table to say wassup to Jaquan and the rest of the boys. Which caught my attention quick. "Wassup Ke'Shawn , Wassup Quay?'' they said dapping him. "Nun man , but yo , we funna turn the fuck up tonight'' Ke'Shawn said ''Where they going tonight?'' Jaquan asked. "They going to this club that's like 10 minutes from here'' Ke'Shawn said. "Oh yea I heard about that club , I heard that shit be banging'' one of them said and they kept on going about the club. Me and Diamond decided to go too , we ain't got nothing better to do.

The whole time Ke'Shawn was talking I was just day dreaming. This boy is too freaking sexy. "Yo Ke'Shawn where's Tania?'' of them asked and he shrugged his shoulders ''Man I don't even know and I don't even care, she said she ain't wanna come so I was like whatever'' he said then Diamond gave me a look and I shook my head and smiled.

We went to the front desk and asked for a room. This hotel wasn't that tall but it was wide as fuck. Their were about 20 floors. They gave us a room that was on the 16th floor , which was good enough for me, cause all the lame Seniors were all downstairs but the fye ones was upstairs. I just hope I get enough sleep with they loud asses. Me and Diamond's room number is 312 and Jaquan, Ke'Shawn, and Quay was in room 315 which is right down the hall from us.

We settled down our things and laid on the bed for a few and waited until the movie thing the Seniors are having downstairs ''You know what we watching ?'' I asked ''About last night, the one with Kevin Hart, the boys are a little over the edge about it but they'll be okay'' she said making me laugh. "See this is a perfect time to have a boyfriend'' I said ''Hell yeah , swea the single life can be boring as hell'' she said ''You ain't never lied'' I said picking up my phone and texted Jaquan to see what the boys are up too. "But girl you ain't funna be single for long'' she said and I looked at her with one of my eyebrows raised ''And what makes you so sure ?'' I asked with a smirk ''I can just sense it, you and Ke'Shawn are bound to get together by the end of the weekend'' she said making me blush ''That's if he even notices me'' I sighed ''Watchu mean girl ?'' she asked ''He didn't even look my way today at the table, it's pointless'' I said ''That's why you got to capture his attention, which is what I did with your brother , now he never looks away from me'' she said flipping her hair ''That's because you a crazy bitch, every second your doing something different'' I said laughing and she rolled her eyes ''Man whatever'' she said

After getting everything settled , we met up with our other friend Morgan and Jennifer, then met up with the boys. We bought some popcorn and slushies and sat all the way at the top. I sat next to Diamond but it took me some time to realize the other person I was sitting next to. I looked the other way and it was Ke'Shawn fine ass. Aye, I can't lie a nigga was happy as fuck.

We all sat there talking and having conversations while they were giving trailers. And yet , even though I was sitting right next to him, we still aint say no words to each other. Except for this one time he asked for a napkin but that doesn't count. When the movie started, it took a while for these bums to settle down, but they did eventually. While we were watching the movie , all the boys were cracking jokes and kept saying stupid shit throughout the movie. Even though it was funny , never go to the movies with bums.

"Lawd that movie too much, I love Kevin Hart short ass'' I said after the movie ''I know you not talking about short, Promise'' Jaquan said making the boys laugh and I rolled my eyes. While we were walking to our rooms to get ready for the club , I realized I left my phone at the theatre.

I walked back and headed to the elevator and when it opened , I accidentally bumped into somebody. I looked up and it was Ke'Shawn. "I'm so sorry , again'' I said with an apologizing face and he smiled ''It's all good'' he said ''Kinda in a hurry , I left my phone at the theatre'' I said ''You really think it's still there? Somebody probably already hit a lick on that nice ass phone'' he said. I didn't even give a fuck about my phone no more, the fact that I was talking to my fine ass crush, made me forget about it. "That's sucks'' I said and he reached into his back pocket and he handed me my iPhone and I smiled and grabbed it ''Thanks'' I said still smiling and he smiled. His dimples just made me melt inside. "No problem, you might want to remember it next time'' he said winking at me then walked away. Lawd Jesus , I really don't know what it is about that boy.
