Promise POV

It's been a week since I found out about Honest taking my dad's money. It was about time I confronted her about it so I'm doing it right after school today.

The bell finally rung for us to leave seventh period. I quickly picked up my belongings then walked out the class.

I was too anxious to talk to Honest. I wanted to find out everything.

I went straight to my locker and placed all my books inside and jumped when somebody touched my shoulder.

I laughed when I seen it was just Jaquan.

"Oh hey Jaquan" I said as I shut my locker and zipped up my purse.

"Damn girl you shaking like a stripper" he said as he hugged me.

I hugged him back as I laughed.

"My bad I just got a lot of things on my mind" I said as we walked out through the school doors.

"Tell me what's on your mind" he said as he stopped me to talk to him.

I shot a wry smile.

"It's a lot.. I swear I'll tell you everything once everything's handled" I said as he pulled into a tight hug.

"If you need me I'm here for you sis" he said making me smile against his chest.

"Thanks Jay" I said as we released from the hug.

I then saw Diamond walking out from the other side coming towards us.

"Soo.. you and Diamond?.." I said as I squeezed my cheeks in.

He looked back then chucked awkwardly.

"What you mean?" he asked trying to look oblivious but I see right through him.

"Mhmmm.." I said sarcastically before Diamond came to us.

"Hey you guys" she said with all smiles.

We smiled back.

"Hey baby girl" I said

"Hey boo" he said then kissed her cheek. She was blushing like there was no tomorrow.

"Mhmm" I scoffed making Jaquan chuckle.

I finally spotted Keshawn who was walking towards my car. I told Jaquan and Diamond that I would catch up with them later.

As I was on my way to meet up with him, I yelled out his name and he looked from side to side making me laugh.

Lawdd he look so fine when he's clueless.

"Hey babe" I said wrapping my arms around him from behind.

He looked back then down at me and smiled.

He turned around to pick me up and planted kisses all around my neck. I giggled through the process.

"You ready to go baby?" he asked smiling at me.

"Yass more than ready" I said as he placed me down.

"Your ass just want to be nosy and shit" he said as we went into my car.

I scoffed at his comment.

"She's my sister, I deserve to know everything" I said as I started the engine then drove off campus.

"You know damn well Spank would not want you to be involved, you just want to be all up in their business" he said laughing.

I rolled my eyes.
