Promise P.O.V

I woke up to the smell of breakfast cooking and I felt my stomach grumble. I took the sheets off me and slipped on my pink slippers.

I went into the bathroom and washed my face. Today I have to go with my dad to the station and see how things run there. I'm helping his workers out with some papers and other gang business. I just can't wait to see what goes down at his office and hopefully he decides to let me stop by and help them out once in a while.

I went into the shower and let the water run and hit my skin and my hair then heard my phone buzz on the counter. I decided to call the person back later because I never liked getting interrupted of taking a shower.

After 15 minutes , I got out the shower and dried up. I brushed my teeth then picked up my phone remembering that I had gotten a call earlier. I looked at my phone and saw that the missed call was from my big sister Honest.

I felt my body get happy and a smile came across my face. I haven't heard from Honest in a while because she's been busy with college and baby stuff. I then grabbed my lotion and my phone then sat on my bed. I called back Honest as I lotioned myself up

After the phone with Honest I threw on a white cropped top that read "Cali" , light ripped high waist jeans and a pair of white keds with a gold chain and earrings and then did my hair and curled my hair with my curling wand.

I then grabbed my phone and went downstairs to the kitchen , where there was plates of cinammon rolls, toast, nutella, and grits. I took a seat next to my mom as I texted Diamond.

"Mom , this look good" I said making her smile. "I know it's your favorite" she said smiling at me and I flashed her a smile back. "Thanks ma" I said taking a bite of the rolls. "No problem honey , but umm I got to ask you something" she said wiping her mouth with a napkin and not trying to ruin her red lipstick. "Wassup?" I said and she looked down at her fingers. "Is your father talking to another women?" she said still looking down and I chuckled. "Ma this isn't high school no more , of course dad will never move on from you , every night he hopes prays that you would come back and you just granted his wishes." I said and she cracked a smile. "It's just that he doesnt look at me the same no more , like he lost intrest over the past years" she said and I shook my head. "He was drooling over you last night trust me , and it's cause he's giving you pay back cause you broke his heart by leaving him" I said and she let out a little laugh.

Trey and my dad then came downstairs. When they saw us they just stood there looking at us, and we stared at them back as if we were doing a staring contest. "Umm can we leave now?" Trey finally said making us laugh. "Okay well be careful honey, sit on the couch at all times and call me if you need me" My mom said touching my nose "Oh come on it is non that bad" My dad said making my mom raise her eyebrow and give the evil look. He then put his hands up in surrender. "My bad" he said and I smiled at my mom "Alright ma , I will" I said and from there we were on way to the station.

I then texted Ke'Shawn telling him that I'll text him later. He replied saying 'Alright baby , text me when your done <3' I smiled at the text then texted back saying 'Alrite love' then turned my phone off and placed it into my pocket. My dad said for me to turn it off so the feds dont track me down. He is really protective , he got like 2 security guards in each corner and he placed all his guns in a box and hid them somewhere but he kept one armed just in case.

I looked and saw that my dad pulled up into the same exact place Ke'Shawn took me that one day after school. Probably all the Stations look alike.
