I stood in a very long line waiting with many other different kinds of soldiers waiting to get the drugs that will help our bodies stay healthy and alive for the next 5 years while sleep. As I stood in line scanning over each soldier I took note of how few females there were. Along the way, I sneered and snapped at a few pig-like men who thought it alright to make rude and disgusting remarks to me. Out of all the soldiers here only 1 had truly caught my attention. But not for his good looks or attitude. He was in a wheelchair.
Deciding against my better judgment I decided to speak to him and ask him his name. " excuse me, sir" I tapped the man's shoulder gaining his attention and making him turn around in his wheelchair to look at me. He gave me a small smile that I could see he was using to try and cover up his nervousness. He was a cute young man but not my type, he looked to be maybe 22 or 23.

"what's your name," I questioned him tilting my head a bit. He smiled a bit more confidently and held out his hand for a handshake. "The names Jake, Jake sully it's nice to meet you, ma'am," Jake stated kindly to me. I gave him a small smile back and reached out giving his hand a firm shake. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Jake Sully. My names is Soldaat but you can just call me Sol if you like," I introduced myself back.
"Interesting name you got there Sol, where you from," he questioned rolling forward as the line continued to slowly move. "I'm from Africa" I replied walking next to him.
"I don't mean to offend make but I must say you don't really seem like the kind of guy to want to go to a new planet," I stated hoping to not offend him. Jake glanced up at me as I walked side by side with him keeping in step with his wheelchair.
"To be brutality honest I never wanted to leave or even dreamed of leaving earth but my brother was recently killed and because we were twins they asked me if I wanted to take his place........ And I did," jake stated. I gave jake a sad smile and reached over and gave his shoulder a firm grip but said nothing. The smile and nod from Jake was all I needed. As we finally reached the front of the line we were given a shot in the neck with a mysterious blue liquid that was supposedly the drug to help us sleep.
We were also issued a simple white shirt and shorts and we were instructed to change as soon as possible.

While I was sitting and waiting for us to be loaded onto the ship I took the time to use the tablet the men in black gave me. They had informed me that everything I would need to know about pandora and the Navi would be on it. In the short time I've had it I have already learned the native language. Currently, I was studying and learning about the Navi along with the animals and native plant life.
The Navi are so similar to my people that it's quite shocking and somewhat scary. I have also been enrolled in the Avatar program where they will create my own Navi body based on my DNA. By the time we arrive on pandora, my body should be fully matured and ready for me when we land.
"We will now be loading please make your way to the loading dock," a female voice said over a speaker echoing throughout the large room. I turned off the tablet and stood up and walked next to Jake to the ship.

I was memorized by the size of the ship, never had I seen anything like this before. Even Jake was in awe of it. As we were escorted to our beds for the next 5 years we discovered that we would be right next to one another.

I saluted to Jake," see you in 5 years Jake" I slowly lay down. "See you in 5 years Sol" he called out to me as our beds started to slowly slide into the wall. A man stood above me. "Just relax and let your mind go blank," he said and I shut my eyes feeling my body start to relax and my mind went blank.
