The guys game ended up going into extra innings meaning we had to start the party with out them. Right now I was standing at the grill with my dad and Cooter laughing over a story of Dansby face planting while rounding third.

I was thrilled that our families were getting along. His dad and mine were bonding over sports, his mom and sister were talking to mine about softball since his sister played and his brother and his wife were talking to Jeremy and Nicole about god knows what.

"If y'all excuse me I'm going to grab another beer, would y'all like one?" I ask pointing towards the cooler.

"No I'm good thank you." Cooter waves off.

"I've still got half of one right here, thanks though slugger." He says flipping another burger.

I nod walking off to the cooler to grab myself one. Popping it open I take a look around my backyard. I'm glad Nicole and Jeremy have so many people supporting them.

I jump as arms wrap around my waist and hair tickles my neck. "Hey beautiful."

I smile turning around in his arms and giving him a short kiss. "Hey superstar, congrats on the win."

"Hey I wasn't the one with the walk off, that's my man Ender over there." He points in the direction of Ender and Meg.

"Well whatever the case I'm proud of you. Now go change and get your ass back out here." I instruct turning him around.

"Yes ma'am." He salutes heading into the house.

"Y'all are adorable." I turn to see Nicole standing there smiling. "It's so good to see you happy again."

I smile glancing back at the door where Dansby just disappeared. "Thanks, he really does make me so happy."

"I can tell, that smile hasn't left your face since you saw him." She pokes my cheeks. "Anyways, I just wanted to thank you so much for doing this. It's honestly amazing."

I smile and hug her. "Anything for y'all. I know this isn't the ideal situation but I want to be as perfect as I can make it."

"Well you did a great job." Her hand subconsciously floats down to her stomach and rest there.

"So how far along are we?" I asks eying her hand.

"11 weeks." She smiles. "I'm honestly excited, I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl."

"I'm betting girl, only because I want to see Jeremy turn into a complete softy for her." I joke.

"I'm kind of hoping it's a girl too, but if not I'll love him just as much." She rubs her bump-less belly.

"Well just know that I'm going to spoil he or she rotten." I warn with a laugh.

"I wouldn't expect anything less." She shakes her head.

"Oh we need a picture." I exclaim fishing my phone out of the pocket of my romper. Holding it out I snap a quick picture for Instagram of us before Jeremey makes his way over to us.
