All-Star break came with and went way to fast. It's been a few weeks now, I've officially moved in with Dansby though all my boxes aren't unpacked. My anxiety isn't as bad, I still ha e panic attacks sometimes at night when Dansby's not there but not as often.

Dansby was currently in Arizona and was actually having a good game considering his recent struggles. "Yes that's my boy!" I cheer as Dansby collects his second hit for the night.

"He's playing well tonight." Megan acknowledges, she had come over to watch the game.

"I know I'm happy for him. He's been so hard on himself lately and it doesn't matter what I do to try and cheer him up." I've honestly tried everything to help him.

"Everything." Megan smirks making me roll my eyes.

"I mean that of course helps for like 2 hours but then his mind wonders back to baseball again." I laugh as the game comes to an end and the post game talk show come on.

"I don't understand why they always have to bring up his slump." I sigh as they once again talk about it.

"It'll be fi-" Megan is cut off by my phone ringing.

"It's Dans hang on." I say answering it. "Hey superstar."

"Hey Taegan." I knew the second he said Taegan something was wrong.

"What's wrong Dansby?" I question, worry clear in my voice.

"I just got out of a meeting with Snitker and he informed me that I'm being optioned down to Tripple A Gwinnett." My heart broke at his words and all wanted to do was be able to hold him but right now I knew he just needed support.

"Alright well that's ok, where do we go from here." I want to figure out what's going before we get into emotions.

"Well," he sighed. "They have one game left in Lehigh Valley then I'll fly out Friday to be with them in Syracuse."

"Alright well do you want me to meet you at the airport tonight?" I offer.

"Yea that'd be great." The monotone voice in which he spoke let me know he was taking this hard.

"Ok I can do that." It was quite on the other side of the line. "Dans," I say knowing I had his attention. "I love you and this will be ok. We can talk about this tonight though."

"Thanks babe, I love you too." With that he hung up.

Slowly I push my phone into my pocket and walk back into the living room where Megan was. "Hey what's wrong?" She ask after looking up.

"He got sent down." I say falling on the couch next to her.

"What why?" She asks shocked.

I shrug letting my head fall back on the couch. "You know why, he hasn't been hitting well at all. I just hate it for him because he's giving it his all and right now he's just not finding it. It's breaking my heart seeing him down after every game. I just wish there was something in our lives that could bring him joy right now."

"He'll be fine, I'm sure he'll get called back up by the end of August." Megan assures me.

"I am to, but it's not a matter of if we believe it, it's a matter of if he does." I sigh.
***********
I leaned again the door of Dansby's truck waiting on him at the airport. Soon enough a figure dressed on dress pants and a dress shirt with a jacket slung over its arm emerged from the dark. Reaching me wrap my arms around his waist as he drops his bag pulling me close to him.

"This is going to be alright, you hear me. This is all going to work out for the best." I say resting my head on his chest.

"I hope so. God you're the only thing going right in my life right now." He whispers kissing my head.

I lean back and give him a kiss before leaning down and grabbing his bag and tossing it in the back seat. "Come on, let's get you home."

Dansby nods going to get in the drivers seat but I stop him. "Passengers seat." I point. He doesn't even argue with me and just hands over the keys. I had Megan drop me off so that I could ride back with him.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" I ask cranking up the truck and starting towards the house.

"I want to talk about anything but it." He sighs leaning his head back.

"Ok well umm oh yesterday I made my biggest sale ever." I grin, I hadn't told Dansby about it yet because I wanted him to stay focused.

"Really? Can I ask about the details or are you not allowed to tell me because of like client confidentiality?" Dansby questioned.

"I think I'll make the exception for you." I smile. "It was $10.9 million! Can you believe that!"

"Holy shit babe that's amazing. I'm so proud of you!" Add this to the list of reasons why Dansby Swanson is the love of my life. Things for him could be a lot better and he could be pouting about it but he's still supports me and my dreams.

"Thanks! I still can't believe people will spend that much money on a house." I admit.

"Me either, I can't fathom spending that much money on something." He says reaching over and taking my hand.

"Same I don't want a big lonely house." I say smiling as he begins rubbing circles on the back of my hand.

"What's your dream house Taz?" He questions looking over at me, I could see in his eyes how tired he was.

"Well," I begin thinking. "I've seen so many I think I'd want to build my own, you know customize it. I'd want land and kind of a rustic feel. A finished basement, big open kitchen because you know I love cooking. Maybe a fire pit or something out in the back, somewhere cozy to just have family time." Ever since I was little I've always had the idea for my dream house with lost of land. "Oh and of course near Megan! You know we can't go to long without one another."

Dansby let's out a real laugh at that. "That is the truest thing I've heard all day." He shakes his head. "But that sounds perfect." We fall into a comfortable silence the rest of the drive home.

When I put the keys in the door Bentley and Munson both begin barking. "Calm down." I laugh as Munson pounces on my leg and Bentley jumps on Dansby. "I think someone missed her daddy." I smile as Dansby rubs behind her ears.

"Oh I missed my Bentley kisses." He grins letting her lick his face.

"What about me? Did you miss my kisses?" I muse leaning against the counter.

Dansby smiles standing up. "Always." He comes forward capturing me between the counter and himself. Leaning down he gives me a slow meaningful kiss. "I love you Taegan." He whispers pressing his forehead to mine.

"I love you too Dansby." I reach up resting my hand on his face.

"You know I've got to shave for the minors." He frowns.

I shrug letting my fingers move to his hair. "I know you like it but I actually wouldn't mind seeing you with out his beard. As long as they don't make you cut this gorgeous hair I'm fine."

"You still going to come to my games?" He asks looking me in the eyes.

"I wouldn't miss seeing you play for the world."
