Kate’s P.O.V.
“Kate, are you okay,” I heard Christian’s voice from
Somewhere nearby. As soon as I heard his voice, the
Blackness started fading and soon it was completely gone.
“Kate, are you okay,” my mom repeated Christian’s
Question.
“I’m fine,” I said while sitting up which was a bad
Idea since as soon as I sat up my head started pounding.
“Do you want me to go get the nurse,” Christian
Asked me.
“Why,” I asked confusedly not sure why a nurse
Would have to be called for.
“I just guessed that your head hurst,” he answered.
“You’re right,” I said. “Although, I didn’t hit it, did
I?”
“No, I don’t think you did,” Christian said as he stood
up. “I’ll go get you some Tylenol for the pain.”
“He really cares about you,” my mom said after
Christian left the room.
“I know, but I feel like I’m making his life filled with
Too much drama and stress.”
“Have you talked to Christian about it,” she asked.
“Yeah, we talk about it a lot,” I told her.
“And what did he tell you,” she asked.
“He said that it’s okay and that I’m not ruining
His life. I’ve explained that the only reason why I
Know why I’m like this is because I don’t know how to trust
People,” I said reluctantly.
“What’d he say to that?”
“That it’s okay,” I answered.
“Then you shouldn’t worry about it,” she told me.
“Here you go,” Christian said to me as he walked back into
The room and handed me a Tylenol and a cup of water.
“Thanks,” I told him.
Christian’s P.O.V.
Not long after I got back to Kate’s mom’s hospital room
With the Tylenol, Kate decided that she was hungry so we called
My aunt to come and get us from the hospital.
After saying “goodbye” to her mom, we walked outside.
“Where do you want to go eat,” I asked Kate as we waited for
My aunt to pick us up.
“I don’t care; you choose,” she said quietly. It seemed that she
Had been even quieter than usual ever since she had blacked out.
“What’s wrong,” I asked, wrapping my arms around her.
