Brittney

Nate and I were lying on his bed cuddling with each other. 

“Nate,” I asked. 

“Yes, Brittney,” Nate answered. 

“Do you think we’re too young to be doing what we’re doing,” I asked. 

“Maybe, why are you so worried,” he asked me. “After all, it was your idea this

 time.” 

“Shut up, so what if I liked it the first time,” I said. “Anyway, I’m just worried 

about tomorrow.” 

“Why, what’s tomorrow,” he asked.

“I have a doctors appointment,” I told him.

“For what,” he asked. “I thought we already established that you’re not pregnant.” 

“Don’t worry, it’s for my birth control not because I thought I was pregnant,” I 

laughed. 

“Oh, do you want me to go with you?”

“Would that be awkward for both of us,” I said. 

“We’ve had sex and you think me going to a doctors appointment will be

 awkward,” Nate asked me. 

“You prove a point,” I said. “Plus, all they have to do is ask me questions and 

give a new prescription.” 

“Sounds easy enough,” he said.

“I love you,” I told him.

“I love you, too,” Nate replied.

“Where did that come from,” I asked Sarah after she ended the kiss. 

“Who knows, what did you think,” Sarah asked me.

“That was wonderful,” I laughed.

“Is there anything you want to ask me,” Sarah asked.

“I don’t think so,” I said pretending to be oblivious to what she wanted. 

“Stop it, you know what I’m talking about,” she said.

“Okay, Sarah, would you be my girlfriend,” I asked.

She playfully slapped my arm, and said, “Too you long enough to ask.” 

She kissed my lips and I kissed her back.

I was truly, for once, happy. 

“By the way,” I said when she ended the kiss, “where s your dad?”

“He’s either unpacking or napping, I think,” Sarah replied.

“I don’t mean to sound rude or anything, but do you have anything to eat? I kind

 of haven’t eaten all day.” 

“Come on, we’ll get you some food,” she got up off of her bed. She held out her
