“I’m trying to decide if I stay here since I’m not feeling good or if I should just
suck it up and go to school,” I said thoughtfully.
“Is it the pain,” Kate asked me.
“Yeah, but it’s not just that,” I answered. “I feel nauseous and beyond tired on
top of the pain.”
“What do you risk if you don’t go to school,” she asked me.
“Nate being worried sick about me and insisting that I see a doctor,” I frowned.
“What’s so wrong with that?”
“I don’t want him to worry about me. Plus, I was gonna kind of wait and see
what happens over the next couple of weeks,” I explained.
“If you want to you can take a few Tylenol with you to school,” Kate suggested.
“That should work,” I replied.
“Hey, can I come in,” Christian asked behind the closed door to Kate’s room.
“Yeah,” Kate told him.
“I’m going to run home to get my laptop. I should be back in ten to fifteen
minutes,” Christian said as he walked into Kate’s room.
“If you wait a minute I’ll go with you,” Kate replied.
“Well, actually the guys are getting a little bored of waiting so they offered to
come with me. Is that okay?”
“Yeah,” Kate answered. She stood up to give Christian a hug and a kiss goodbye.
“See you soon,” Christian said before he left.
Sarah
I turned off the warm water to the shower and got out to get dressed. I had asked
Kate if I could take one and she, of course, said yes. I noticed that I had a text
from Nick, it read:
Hey, I went with Christian and Nate to get Christian’s laptop from his
house. I’ll be back soon >N!ck<
Okay, please hurry:) *Superstar*
I sat my phone down and finished getting ready.
Kate
I started powering up my laptop while I pulled my hair back into a ponytail.
“Are you sure you’re okay to go to school,” I asked Brittney uncertainly.
“Yeah,” she answered. “Trust me, if it becomes too much to bear I promise that
I’ll come back here immediately.”
“Okay, you said that at least in a couple of weeks if the pains not gone you’re
