“So what did the doctor have to say,” Kate asked me.
“That he does think that I have the flu on top of morning sickness, then he
explained to me that the morning sickness should go away at the end of my first
trimester. Also, he said that for some women the prenatal vitamins could possibly
help with the nauseousness. After we listed to the baby’s heartbeat and made sure
that I was okay he had me make an appointment for next month. I also had to
make an ultrasound appointment for in a couple of weeks.” After I finished
explaining what had happened at the doctors appointment, I was a little out of

“Well, she didn’t kick you out so she must have taken it at least okay,” Kate’s
mom said.
“You look tired so maybe you should take a nap,” Kate suggested.
“No, I think that this flu is going to stop me from doing so,” I replied.
“What did Dr. Hollington say about that,” Kate asked.
“He said to rest as much as I can and it should go away soon,” I said simply. “If it
