I walked back into her room and saw Caroline getting dressed.
Me "how are you feeling?"
Caroline "better. You?"
Me "There's still some vervain burning through my veins but i'll live. Well, i'm dead but..you know what i mean"
She nodded and we walked into the living room.
I saw Tyler sitting on the sofa .
I grimaced "i knew i smelled dog"
He got up and walked to Caroline.
Caroline asked confused " What are you doing here?"
Tyler " I came to apologize."
Caroline asked irritated "Apologize?! You bit me. I could've died. I think we're way past apologies, Tyler."
Tyler " That's the problem. Klaus told me to do it and I said no. And then...just happened anyway. Like, it was completely out of my control. That's why I had your mom call him."
I was going to ask who but then Bill Forbes walked into the room.
Caroline's eyes widened "Daddy?"
Bill " Hi, Caroline."
Tyler " I thought, since he can resist compulsion, maybe he could teach me to resist the sire bound.
Me "you know what, i'll just leave. Call me if you need me"
She nodded and i walked out.
At the grill.
I walked into the grill and saw a woman walking away from Ric.
I walked to the table and sat down next to him "Ric, don't tell me you had a date going on"
Ric rolled his eyes "it wasn't a date"
I chuckled "of course not"
Ric "She's my doctor."
Damon sat down in front of Ric "a hot doctor"
Ric nodded " Mm-hm."
Damon raised an eyebrow " What's the damage?"
Ric shook his head " No damage."
Damon " Come on, Ric, a fact of life. A girl that hot, that smart...damage."
Ric "Well, I'm looking for red flags. Her ex called her a psycho case the other day."
Damon " Yeah, but it comes from her ex, doesn't count."
Ric nodded " Yeah, I guess you're right."
Damon picked up a notebook from the table, opened it, and tossed it to Alaric " That's yours."
