Next day. morning. At school.

I walked into the school with Stefan on the phone.

Stefan "where are you? didn't hear you leave this morning?"

Me "Caroline called. Said she needed help with cleaning up the mess from last night"

Stefan "want me to come over and help?"

I smiled "it's okay, Stefan, you don't need to come over"

Stefan "aright"

Me "Where are you?"

Stefan " I'm at Elena's if you need me"

Elena?

Stefan "you still there?"

I nodded "yeah, i'll call you later"

Then I heard a noise behind me. 

I turned around but there was no one. I walked into the cafeteria.

Bekah and Caroline where there.

Me "My favorite blondes"

Caroline turned to me "Adelaide!"

Me "Where's everyone?"

I looked around searching for people who weren't even there.

Bekah "Matt bailed"

Caroline "Tyler's helping Klaus "

I asked annoyed " Are you kidding me? So, it's just us?"

Bekah "I managed to turn up on time and I didn't even get to attend the dance that i organized."

I sighed "Bekah"

Caroline"I'm sorry about your mom. I mean I know you like, hated her and everything, but still...I'm sorry."

Bekah " I'm sorry about your teacher. He seemed like a nice guy.:"

I nodded "Yeah. He was."

Bekah "I'm gonna get started on the gym."

She walked out.

I looked at Caroline "Well,.."

Suddenly we heard noise.

She and i looked at each other before speeding out to the hallway. 

My jaw dropped. 

Ric stood there with the white oak aimed at Bekah.

I pushed him off her "Ric?"

Ric smirked "Adelaide"

He pushed me against the locker and tried to stab me. Caroline threw a locker door at him wich lead to him to miss my heart. I hissed in pain.
