"Vanity is a deadly sin. I think deadly sins (vanity, greed, anger, envy, pride, lust, avarice) were classified as 'deadly' because they are innate in man, and are therefore easily committed, and when committed can lead to a number of consequences if the sin goes beyond the limits. I don't mean and want to be vain in the general sense - wanting to be admired for my looks and talent and whatever earthly blessing people would see I possess. But I do have my own brand of vanity - moral vanity. I want to be admired for doing what in the eyes of man and God is right and good."
