It is no place for sentimentality, and sentimentality is innate in almost every person, everyone has emotions to feel, to express, to give in to, to cry out. But the universal dictum to "Be Strong" forces us to sometimes deny all those emotions, because we have to submit that thesis, write that research paper, answer that phone call, work for that dream house, earn that dream salary, prepare for life. Oh, if only for one whole day, I could disappear into a world that favors sentimentality, and give in to all the emotions I am feeling...then maybe...just maybe...I would really feel alive."
