Louis was standing at the edge of the entrance of the dance hall. He heard the commotion of laughter and giggles coming from his sister's room and became intrigued, normally when Harry is over they stay downstairs being up in their room was unusual unless he was putting them to bed. It wasn't long after though that he heard a voice that he knew wasn't Harry's, but instead Cassies.

He was tempted to go and see what they were doing, he missed seeing his sisters laugh, he never really got to see especially nowadays since he's always so busy. As Louis got up to go check the laughter from across the hall he was shocked to hear his girlfriend's voice. He had forgotten she was over, well not really he knew he had let her in the house and took her to his room but he was so fixated on what was happening across the hall.

"Oh thank god, I was getting tired of hearing that mess."

"Huh?"

"You are closing the door, right? I mean how in the world can two people have a conversation with such a loud and rude disruption? Did your sister never learn how to respect a guest."

Louis wasn't shocked at Ronnies choice of words, they weren't any harsher than just about every other time she spoke but he was surprised that she used them to describe two four-year-olds. Sure Cassie was with them but she probably didn't know that. Instead of picking a right with Ronnie Louis just obeyed her request, however, when he went to shut the door he was met with the sight of his sisters in their favorite princess dresses, it was the ones Harry ave them for their last birthday. He smiled at the memory of how happy they were when they came home that day.

Louis traveled deeper into the hall watching as his sisters clung to Cassie's arms until they finally disappeared down the staircase.

"Louis! How long does it take to close a door?"

Quickly he dashed back into his room and shut his door, snapping back into the Louis he created years ago.

"Sorry, I just went and asked them to keep it down we should be good now."

Louis sat at the edge of his bed while Ronnie was sitting on the edge of the bay window with a bag of makeup sprawled out all over the navy blue pillows that lined the area. She held a mirror that lit up around its edges in one hand while having a beauty blender in the other as she redid the day's makeup turning it into a gamified night look. Ronnie didn't seem to notice when her boyfriend came back into the room simply ignoring him.

"Why do you have to do your makeup there? There is plenty of space in the bathroom."

Ronnie stopped her motions and set down the mirror and lifted her face to look at Louis. A deep breath was let out signaling her annoyance at what Louis had just said.

"Louis. Why would I do my makeup in a dingey bathroom that is filled with disgusting artificial light? Do you really want everybody at the party to make fun of my makeup just because you made me do it in a bathroom? Besides the view is better sitting here."

"Just please don't get any of that on the pillows, they aren't easy to clean."

Louis was already giving up on the argument, he knew there was no chance of him winning. H also just didn't have the energy to deal with an upset Ronnie all night. All he wanted to do was just go to the party and drink a beer. Drink a beer and escape reality.

Ronnie picked back up her mirror which had left a slight outline of powder, Louis noticed and let out a soft sigh earning him another glare from his girlfriend. He already needed a break from her. Louis stood back up and walked out of his room.

"Louis! Where are you going!"

"I'm just grabbing some water, I'll be back."

Louis left his room and leaned up against the wall and let out a deep breath. Louis walked down the staircase to head to the kitchen. When finally arriving at the fridge Louis was shocked to not see any of the others that were also occupying the residence, never the less he goes and grabs two water bottles.
