It seemed like summer was flying by really fast, even for Caius

His daughter would be starting Junior High.

Volterra, Italy September 3rd, 2023.

Charlotte's POV
Only a day till I start my Private School, I decided to write in my journal to loosen my nervousness.

For my 13th birthday.

I was able to get social media.

I was so thrilled then, on instagram I would receive a lot of message requests

I was already gaining 2.5 Million follows, I was kinda happy, however my father did tell me that once I hit the age of 18 I would be changed to be like them fully

They would basically have one of the gifted guards to erase all memories in the humans.

I'll be enjoying fame till then, I sighed I had nothing to worry about, I came from a good family so Private school is nothing compare to owning the entire country.

Then I heard a knock at my door, I overcame my fears, and yes I'm sleeping in my room without having insomnia.

I walked to my door and opened it, then I saw it was Alec,

I gave him a neutral stare, "May I help you?" I said in irritation,

"Actually, there is" Alec says,

I was surprised but I held my shock,

I've learned it from my father, "I want to take you somewhere" he begins to say,

I cocked an eyebrow, "Could you not do that? It makes it seem like I'm talking to your father instead" Alec says,

I rolled my eyes and relaxed my face, "Where are you taking me?" I asked,

"It's somewhere special" he says,

"ok, well show me" I said giving him my hand,

He grabs my hand and begins to lead me to a green vegetated area,

the forest I presumed, then we stopped at the waterfall, I looked around, "okay what's special about this?" I asked,

"This is actually the place where your parents met" he begins to say, which I was intrigued, "Did father put you up to this?" I asked, "your father wanted to bring you, but it seemed he is off on a business trip" he replies,

I let go of Alec's hand and sat down on a rock close to the sparkling water, "I bet they did a lot of fun stuff here" I said emphasising on 'fun' I saw Alec stiffened,

"How would you know?" He asks, "I don't know, I asked my father on how I was made so it led me to believe this was where they first made out" I said in one breath,

Alec just nodded, then a sudden question came to mind, "Where was I conceived" Alec got uncomfortable,

"Well?" I said raising an eyebrow, "How would I know that" Alec finally said, "I don't know maybe because they would be making such a ruckus in the castle!" I exaggerated

I raised my hand up to his face ready to inflict my power on him then Alec quickly said "you were conceived in your father's chamber"

I didn't know how to feel, for all of my childhood years I slept in my father's chambers, and to know they did that thing- I was getting really squeamish, Alec somehow noticed my disgust and gained some confidence,

"Well aren't you glad you asked?" He said with a drip of sarcasm, "Very" I shuddered.
