Eleazar's PoV
We made it to a very low income neighbourhood.
I could see why that girl stole the necklace..
"Charlotte?" I asked she had been zoning out and looking at the house we stopped at.
"Baba I don't know if I can face her" she says.
"You want your necklace right?" I said reminding her why we came here in the first place.
"Okay let's go" she says shaking off the nervousness.
I held her hand as we made it onto the porch of the house.
A older woman maybe in her late 30s opened the door.
"Hello how may I help you?" the older woman kindly asked and was in awe struck with my appearance.
"Well sweetie?" I looked at Charlotte.
But she was fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.
"Baby remember?" I knelt to her level.
"You're handsome" the older woman suddenly said then I heard footsteps coming from down the stairs in the house.
"Mom who is at the doo-" the footsteps stopped.
I began to stand up from kneeling.
It was the ginger haired girl.
"Charlotte?" the ginger girl said innocently as if she didn't harass my Lola.
"Kendra do you know this girl?" the mother of that child asked.
I cocked an eyebrow.
"I went to Daxon's party and I met her there" Kendra said.
She had no trace of guilt.
"Did you invite her over?" her mother asked she was rather excited.
I tsked.
Lola stayed quiet.
"I'm sorry to have disturb you. But it appears your daughter took something from my Lola" I said.
"Kendra?! Is this true?" her mother raised her voice in disbelief.
Then the girl stepped back a little.
"Uh- I didn't steal anything" she said. Now she resorts to lying? I turned to Charlotte.
She was still silent and quivering.
"Kendra's mother do you see what your daughter has done to my child?" I said looking at her.
"Sir. I didn't know she did such a thing she told me that she had a lot of fun at that party" Kendra's mother explains.
That's correct.
Your daughter did have fun by harassing Charlotte.
I inhaled.
"Give me my necklace back please" Charlotte finally said but her voice cracked.
