You unlock the fron door and step inside quietly. You had a long day. First school, then work. It was already 3 o'clock in the morning and you were beyond exhausted. You open yours and Dan's bedroom door and you walk in.
Your eyes fell onto Dan's sleeping body. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps. It's one of your favorite things about him.
His eyes flutter open and you find your heart fluttering with it. "Hey babe. How was work?"
You climb into bed next to him and he wraps his arms around you.
"It was very tiring and I'm sorry I woke you."
His lips found yours first and you breathed him in softly.
He slowly pulled away from you and whisperd, "Don't be. I missed you. Now give me another kiss and fall asleep with me."
You smile and lean in, giving him a lingering kiss, and then falling asleep in the crook of his arm.
