Olympus-

"Did our young Perseus embark on his journey already?" Zeus asked the entire council.

The Olympians have been gathered for a meeting despite it not being the winter solstice.

"Yes Lord Zeus, Perseus has embarked on his journey, I have given him supplies for this quest," Artemis answered.

"Good, now let's discuss how we could help him without directly interfering with his quest," Zeus said, addressing the main topic of the meeting.

"I believe we could send couriers to Perseus in a discrete manner," Poseidon suggested which received a bunch of ooh's and ahh's.

"I could have a few doves send him supplies," Aphrodite said.

"Or I could have my owls." Athena chimed in.

"Or we could just sit still and watch his progress," Hera said which caused the others to look at her.

"What do you mean by 'Sit still and watch his progress, ' Hera?" Zeus asked, clearly baffled by his wife's suggestion.

"As you all know, this was supposed to be a solo quest. And if we interfere, it would be as if we are underestimating Perseus." Hera stated.

"Oh please, I'm pretty sure Percy's inner dialogue is cursing at us for not helping him," Apollo said as he reclined on his throne.

"As if you-." Hera said but stopped mid-sentence when she detected multiple powerful energy in multiple locations. She looked around and saw that her fellow Olympians also felt it.

Zeus abruptly stood up and grabbed his master bolt. "What was that!?" He shouted.

"Multiple foreign energy has been detected all over Manhattan, Lord Zeus. It's also very powerful!" Hermes announced.

"Brother, we must immediately adjourn this meeting to investigate the source of this energy!" Hades said as he stood up.

"I agree with Lord Hades, Father. We should investigate it immediately for it could be our enemy!" Athena said.

"All right, we shall continue this meeting at another time," Zeus said. "Athena I order you to investigate this matter as quickly as possible, you can ask for help. After that report to the council immediately."

"I will help you, Athena." Artemis offered and Athena nodded.

"So will I." Apollo also offered.

  "Me too." Hermes as well.

"Understood, Lord Zeus," Athena said. "We shall leave now."

Zeus nodded and Athena and the others flashed away to the locations of the power surge.

"What could this be Brother? This is the first time I have felt this kind of energy." Poseidon said as he faced his brother.

"So do I, we can only wait for Athena and the other's report regarding this multiple power surge," Zeus answered.

And they all nodded in grim as if waiting for the end.

A dead-end alley located at Manhattan—

A tear in space appeared and out came a person dressed in an orange T-shirt and cargo pants. The person staggered as he regained his bearings.

"Where am I?" The person said as he walked away to survey his surroundings.
