Selena entered the dining room to see an array of fruit and breakfast food, she sat down beside Naomi who was talking with Hayley. She fill her plate as she squealed eating causing Hayley to giggle quietly
"Oh my God" she hummed chewing her food "This is so good. I'm so hungry... you know it helps with the bloodlust"
"What's the occasion?" Naomi asked Klaus when he joined them kissing Selena's cheek
"Yeah, which restaurant's missing a compelled chef?" Hayley teased as Klaus looked at the table in confusion
"It's certainly a card I've played in the past, but I had no hand in this" he told her gesturing to the food in front of them
"Well I think we have Elijah to thank?" Selena shrugged eating her crêpes
"This wasn't my doing..." Elijah entered the compound joining them with Theo as the newbie hybrid kissed Naomi's forehead making Selena to look at them with a frown
"Theo?" Hayley asked and he shook his head
"Not me either" he denied causing Selena to put the rest of her crêpes down fearfully as she stood up
"Then... where did all this come from?" She asked hesitantly afraid of the answer
Just when she uttered those words a silver lod on the platter began to rattle making all girls to flinch in shock as Klaus wrapped his arm around Selena's waist protectively before letting her go making his way towards the platter
He lifted the platter which released two starlings that flew up towards the ceiling causing them all to reflexively duck to avoid being hit by them
"What the hell was that?" Hayley asked as Klaus reached the invitation and opened it
