It had been days now since Selena Mikealson and Hayley Marshall-Kenner had gone missing. In that time her children were trying their best to find her and their aunt. Klaus, Freya, Theo, Marcel and Naomi were trying everything to find them
After Klaus made sure that his children were safely at the Salvatore boarding school in Mystic falls. He had left to France to convince Elijah to come back and help him only to find out that his brother wanted nothing to do with them anymore and moved on with his life with Antoinette
While Klaus was devastated and angry at the lost of his brother he didn't give up, he was going to find his wife no matter what the cost, with or without help he would find her. Like Elijah once said he would burn down the whole to find her
Whenever Klaus thought about his wife, he would feel suffocated with guilt and fear. He would sometimes feel like he was mortal from the pain and sickness he'd feel whenever he think about losing her
The Original hybrid stood in the French Quarter looking at the witches work on their Mardi Gras float as he waited for Vincent's response about Selena and Hayley
"So what exactly are you implying?" Vincent asked the Original after telling him about all his doubts he had for the witches and how they used to hate Selena for being an Enchantress
"Luna hid her mother with a cloaking spell. Someone found her. That requires a witch" Klaus stated and Vincent sighed at his accusations
"So that means it was one of mine? I don't think so" Vincent denied firmly and the Original scoffed
"You witches always plead virtue, but if history's to be prologue, you're the most rotten of the bunch" Klaus bitterly retorted getting impatient by the seconds "Your witches hates my wife for being different and more powerful"
"As soon as Freya told me that Selena and Hayley had gone missing, there were a dozen of us witches out there on them streets performing locator spells, trying to find her" The witch told him truthfully "Because Selena is actually a friend to us, okay? Selena and Hayley, unlike you, has earned our respect"
"And out of respect to them, I'm only gonna say this to you one time, Klaus- we had absolutely nothing to do with her disappearance. I promise you that" Vincent firmly spoke as his tone held nothing but sincerity and honesty
"A witch's promise is as slippery as snake oil and as effective" Klaus retorted back with a dangerous glare and a warning tone "You want peace and prosperity? Prove your innocence and find my wife and her cousin"
