Back in New Orleans Klaus had put Selena on their bed waiting for her to wake up, Stella, Naomi and Theo stormed inside the room to check on Selena and Hayley thinking that they were both back
"What- what happened?" Stella gasped when she saw the state her mother was in and Klaus looked at them sadly
"Where's Hayley?" Naomi asked him with a hopeful tone and he remained silent and she approached him placing her hand on his arm "Is she in her room? I'm gonna go check on-"
"Hayley's gone" he quickly said and she looked taken back as she slowly lowered her hand from his arm
"No, no" she denied as tears began to gather in her eyes "She can't be gone, she's not supposed to leave"
"I'm sorry" Klaus told her sadly and she let out a sob and Theo pulled her into a tight hug as tears streaming down his cheeks silently and Stella remained frozen in her spot looking at her father horrifiedly
She turned around walking away as she still looked shocked from the news and Klaus followed her and caught her wrist but she yanked him away and continued to walk with no tears in her eyes, this wasn't supposed to happen, if she found where they were earlier then her aunt wouldn't be dead, would she?

In the Salvatore boarding school Freya was in Luna and Stella's room waiting for them to wake up. Luna let out a gasp as she sat up looking around frantically when she remembered the events of hours ago and Freya sighed in relief
"Mom?" Luna breathed out still looking around to see herself in her dorm back in Mystic Falls and to see Kaine was still sleeping
"Luna" Freya softly called as she approached her but Luna shook her head as her eyes widened
