"You do realize that your mother is insane" Selena stated angrily, it was no secret that Greta hated werewolves but the twins were just kids how could she ask them to bind themselves
"It's not insane to defend yourself, okay? " Roman fired back defending his mothers actions and Kaine scoffed "Werewolves kill to trigger their curse. None of them are innocent. But at least they're a naturally occurring species"
"Hybrids are a perversion. Look at Klaus" Roman pointed out causing Luna to look taken back and slightly betrayed as Kaine fought the urge to rip his insides out "And-and Henry was a hybrid for less than a day before he murdered someone. They're just unnatural"
"Well, um, at least I know how you really feel" Luna told him and he averted her gazes when he saw the hurtful expression on her face
"Hybrids have a choice, too, Roman" Selena stated with a calm tone before looking u meeting his eyes "Uh, we all have free will. Yes, Nik is my husband and I love him but... Klaus did whatever he did not because he's a hybrid, but because he's Klaus. Henry is just a kid. Eventually, he'll learn self-control"
"Mom" Kaine called and Selena noticed that their expressions dropped to a sad look

"Henry's dead" he revealed and Selena's mouth dropped in shock
"What happened?" She asked them before glancing over at the vampire accusingly
"They tore his heart out and strung him up outside Rousseau's" Luna told her as she looked down and Selena's blood ran cold
"Who did?" She demanded with a quiet tone but Roman could hear the bitterness and the anger
"No one knows" Kaine said with a defeated sigh and Selena titled her head looking at the vampire coldly
"I bet Roman's mother does" she remarked looking at Roman with a fake smile, the kind of smile that sent a cold chill down the vampire's spine "Think about it. If they did that to some backwoods bayou kid that they barely even knew, imagine what they're gonna do to us"
"No. My mom just wants peace" he argued at the Mikealson woman's accusations causing her to scoff "If you bind yourselves, you'll be free. You... You'll see"
