Selena fluttered her eyes open only to feel Klaus' face buried in her neck causing her to smile. She stared at him for few minutes before trying to move slowly to make sure not wake him up
"Wait" he whispered wrapping his arm around her waist causing her to chuckle "Not yet"
"We have to" she said and he groaned in frustration "Come on sleepy head. Get up"
"Let's just stay in bed today" he pleaded and she scoffed in amusement
"As tempting as it sound we have things to do like finding your brother. But one day soon we will" she said "Can I ask you something?"
"Is everything alright?"
"Have you ever been in love?" She asked him and he raised his eyebrows at her sudden question
"I am in love... with you" he told her and she smiled before shaking her head
"No before me" she said and he cleared his throat awkwardly
"I loved before but I wasn't in love... it was a long time ago, I wanted to believe that there's still a part of me that's human and capable of love. I wanted to convince myself that I wasn't a monster" he explained and she straddled his waist before leaning down capturing his lips
"You are not a monster" she said before kissing his cheek gently
"Now you're making it hard" he whined and she laughed
