Selena was on her dressing table putting her earrings and she noticed Klaus began to wake up. She smiled from the mirror when he frowned and looked beside him to see his wife was no longer there
"How did you sleep?" She asked him and he looked at her before letting out a sigh "I didn't want to wake you up. You deserved a good night sleep"
"I slept well. I always do when you're with me" he remarked before making his way toward her and kiss her cheek "I love you"
"I love you too" she said and he grabbed his shirt so he could wear it
"So tell me what did I miss?" He asked her and she smiled
"I went back to Mystic falls to attend Caroline and Stefan's wedding" she told him and her smiled dropped and he frowned "He sacrificed himself... to save Mystic falls and all of us apparently"
"Stefan died" he muttered in disbelief and she nodded sadly
"Don't remind me because I'll start crying and I really don't want to. Anyways Caroline and Alaric opened a school for supernatural kids and they asked me to bring the twins and Stel but I couldn't. I wanted them to spend some time with you plus it's a decision that we should both take" she explained and he smiled at her with a nod
"I'm sorry... I know that you cared for Stefan"
"Yeah... I'm gonna wake them up" she informed him and he nodded as she could sense he was still nervous
