Roman was still in the compound looking around while the siblings were still out. He was looking in the cabinet for the vintage things that the Mikaelsons kept throughout the years, the vampire was about to touch something in Klaus' study
Kaine who just arrived to the compound had heard someone going through his father's stuff. He was sure they weren't his sisters because he left them behind but he was surprised who he saw before him
"Do not touch anything" Kaine warned viciously with a menacing glare causing Roman to turn around quickly looking at the younger twin surprisingly
"Sorry, I thought- I just-" Roman stuttered not knowing exactly how to explain himself to the tribrid
"Right, you just thought it was okay to sniff around in my house" Kaine stated coldly his arms folded around his chest walking closer to the vampire "Who invited you in? I'm pretty sure it wasn't Stella because it's not a secret that she hates you and we have that in common... what are you doing here?"
"Well, according to my school files, I have a rebellious nature and a callous disregard for authority" Roman attempted to joke with a small smile and Kaine just stared at him blankly
"Well then, you truly do not want to know about what mine says" the younger twin said before smirking wickedly "It's ten times worse than yours"
"So, I've heard... last week you broke someone's nose and arm" Roman said and Kaine kept glaring at him with an amused smile, the vampire was stunned that the younger boy was not afraid of him or at least be cautious
"I can do a lot worse than breaking arms and noses, it only depends on the person" Kaine smirked devilishly but his tone was somewhat warning
"Easy there, big brother" Stella spoke up and they both turned around facing the younger sister while Luna was staring between her twin brother and crush in shock
"Seriously, Kaine" Luna looked at her brother slightly annoyed and Kaine only smirked smugly with a shrug
"I uh-" Roman stuttered causing Kaine and Stella to share an amused look as the younger sister couldn't help but chuckle
"I do not stand him so... I'll be downstairs" Stella said walking out of the room with an eye roll as Kaine refused to leave his sister with the vampire alone
