That slowly made them question themselves, did he really loved them and their mother or not? They saw how much his absence affected not just them but their mother too, sometimes she would cry herself to sleep thinking that her children were asleep. They also witnessed how she forced a smile everyday knowing that she was trying so hard not to break down because she wanted to stay strong for them
